A list of puns related to "University Of Aberdeen"
Hey all,
As a group of four students at the University of Aberdeen, we are working with the local council, local businesses and property owners to evaluate the feasability of a Car club in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. If you could be so kind as to fill in this survey for us, that would be so helpful.
It only takes 2 minutes max.
Thanks :)
I sent in my application Nov 22nd, and I've heard nothing back since. In the same boat with my application to King's College of London.
I'm an international applicant (US) if that makes a difference
Anyone know where most of the international students at the university of Aberdeen mostly hail from? I got accepted there, along with another UK university, but most of the international student going there are from the gulf ( Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc), and one misconception I faced with current students there, as well as the administration, is that I have a lot of money due to me coming from another Arab country, thing is, I dont have a lot of money at all, and will try to live as frugally as possible. Which is why Iβm afraid the most peoples first impression of me would be that Iβm rich because Iβm Arab. However, Iβm thinking that if the University doesnβt have a large amount of gulf Arabs, I wouldnβt be subject to that misconception, and I wouldnβt be expected to be the one with lots of money....
Today at a campaign stop, SNP Leader /u/daringphilosopher took a stop at the University of Aberdeen in order to talk to students about the issues facing them and what the SNP would do for them, while also taking a tour of the campus. Response has been mostly good to the SNP Leader being there.
βThe Scottish National Party that strongly believes that an investment for our students is an investment for our future, society and our economy. Investing in our students is an investment for Scotlandβs future. And SNP are willing to make our investment in our future.
It was the Scottish National Party that has created Free Education. Free education from the early years to University was accomplished by the SNP. And an SNP government will do whatever we can to protect Free Education for our students. Sometime students still need help to receive their education, which is why the SNP will reform student support funding to make it fair and equitable to students throughout their learner journey from 16 to 24.
Education does not always end with university, sometimes we need education to help find ourselves employment. The SNP will commit to Create a back to work jobs grant for young people aged 16 to 24 returning to work after a period of unemployment. It will be set at Β£100 for young people without children and Β£250 for young parents. We will maintain the number of full-time equivalent college places that lead to employment. Our focus will be on ensuring that the sector contributes to boosting productivity, encourages progression and helps tackle in-work poverty. We will do more to support people to complete courses and to support those who wish to move on to university.
We will always value our young people: we know they contribute to Scotlandβs future, so itβs vital that we contribute to theirs. A vote for the SNP is a vote for a stronger Scotland!"
Just like the title says I am currently contemplating wether I should study at the university of Aberdeen or Dundee. I'm an international student so I don't know the cities all to well. Which one do you reckon is the better in terms of city life, reputation, and academics? The offer at both universites are for a degree in mathematics & physics. All and any advice is appreciated.
Cheers!
