A light rail or walkway that connects Bridge Street to University Place to Mid City, how likely is that to happen within the next two years?

Edit: I know a light rail is a pipe dream but it could also extend down to gate 9 for people wanting to grab lunch on University drive and not have to deal with traffic.

Bridge college to university engineering

My brother lives in Ontario, Canada and recently received his advanced diploma in electrical engineering from Georgian College. Soon after he got hired at a company that will subsidize his tuition to get his bachelor in electrical engineering. He lives in Oshawa right now. What are his options? Can he leverage the advanced diploma so he doesn’t need to spend 4 years in undergrad WHILE working full time.

FYI: University Bridge stuck open, plan your commute to game accordingly!

Still stuck open as of 10:30am. Hopefully will be repaired by noon! If anyone hears anything, please post!

If you’re in this area and walking, the best alt route is through the mint lake playfield park and under 520. Follow the crowds or ask some tailgaters when you get to the park if you’re having trouble navigating.

I'm Dr. Matt Crayne from the University at Albany and SIOP Bridge Builders, here to answer your questions about grad school and life in I/O. AMA!

I’m an assistant professor of management at the University at Albany School of Business in Albany, NY, where I also serve as an affiliated faculty member in the I/O psychology program. As a professor I teach graduate and undergraduate courses in organizational behavior and leadership, as well as direct a first year experience course that mentors students of all ages making the transition to college. My research is focused holistically around the development and spread of influence, most often studied in the contexts of 1) leadership, 2) career decision / occupational choice, 3) non-normative / ideological organizations. I am also a former management consultant, having made several transitions between academia and industry over the course of my career.

Some topics I can address:

I’m here on behalf of SIOP’s Bridge Builders Committee, where we try advance the reach and visibility of I/O psychology to new communities. The AMA will focused on questions related to graduate school. I’m happy to answer any questions you have about the grad school process, from application, to experiences as a graduate student, to career opportunities and transitions, and everything in between. I’ll also do my best to answer any other questions you have about life as an I/O psychologist (either applied or academic). AMA!

**EDIT** Thank you all for your great questions and for participating in today's AMA. If you'd like to learn more about I/O please connect with the SIOP Bridge Builders committee. We have tons of resources to share to help bring I/O to a broader group of people. Also, please feel free to follow me and reach out on social media with all your future I/O questions!

Welcome to /r/dominion's Kingdom of the Week!

For those who have not heard, Kingdom of the Week (hereafter, KotW) is a weekly thread for discussing a shared Kingdom.

Past and present KotW's can be found in this Tableau project or by following a link in the sidebar. As well, the sidebar lists the expansions from which the next KotW will be chosen, and a modmail link to submit KotW suggestions (subject to those constraints).

Feel free to discuss whatever you want in the comments below. This might include: play experience, dominant strategies, fun card combos, possible card substitutions, simulator results, you name it!

A note on spoilers: since the title of the KotW thread contains all the information you'll need to play the Kingdom, feel free to assume that others have played the KotW before visiting this thread. In particular, you should expect SPOILERS IN COMMENTS, so turn back now or forever hold your peace.
