A list of puns related to "United Grand Lodge Of England"
Hello there,
I am currently an entered apprentice in France and will be soon moving to London for work. I do not expect to come Back to France in the next 5 years.
Freemasonry brought me a lot in my first Year and, as it is a part of me now, I intend to pursue my path.
Thing is, my current lodge isnβt aknowldged by the UGLE.
Is there any brother here, from the UGLE that I could get in touch with through zoom or skype? I would have many questions. I know that I might start all over again, but I would like to know more, see if the UGLE and I have a « match » of convictions (if I could speak so).
I hope this post will find his way to a brother. I also apologize if some sentences sound weird, I can think in French and translate my thought as it is!
Thanks

Greetings again. I am trying to find sources regarding the degrees that were practiced under the jurisdiction of the Ancient Grand Lodge of England. So far it seems they did Entered Apprentice and Fellow-Craft. The Master Mason, rather than a degree, was a quality given to the Master of the lodge through the ceremony of passing through the chair. No record of Hiramic Legend in the jurisdiction. Seems that the Royal Arch was also practiced in a lodge restricted to Masters. Although seems there was not a separate Mark degree, there are evidences of the Mark as part of some of the degrees (I am assuming fellowcraft) Any comments, corrections or additional sources on this? I would also like to know the situation in Scotland and Ireland during those times.
I saw this on Facebook > I just returned from the QC Conference held at Queens' College, Cambridge, UK and report that Andrew Prescott and Susan Mitchell Sommers conclusively proved that the Grand Lodge of England was NOT founded in 1717, but in 1721! Yes the paper by Profs. Prescott and Sommers will be published. They discovered detailed minutes of the creation of the GL of England in 1721 at the back of the Lodge of Antiquity minute books. It was a large and well organized event. The Duke of Montague was the first GM not Sayers.
Anyone have more info on this?
is now available here. Just a heads up. To show your partner. For a holiday present. To yourself. Just saying. lol
