A list of puns related to "Unhappily Ever After"
Greetings, Huntsmen, Huntresses, and gender neutral Hunters! Welcome to another week of writing prompts! If you are new here, this is a community-driven weekly event, and the purpose is primarily to generate creativity and have fun while doing so (whether you are a 100% real-meat person or not, we don't judge).
##What will be involved:
Each week, three RWBY-related topics will be posted (subject to ties and special events!). Participants can write a short piece of fiction or dialogue based on that prompt. When writing, the suggestion is to aim for 1k-3k words, however, this is not a requirement. There is no goal - this is not a popularity contest - just write and have fun! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! :)
##Rules (gore, NSFW, spoilers etc.)
The rules are the same as the sub's posting guidelines. Nobody here wants to see your story taken down, so please refer to them before contributing! If someone chooses to ignore these rules, a mod will be asked to remove the post.
##Additional information
Pre-writing is welcome!

The poll!
The thread! BOOM! That's the sound this thread made when people started posting! We had Jaune convincing Pyrrha (through various crafty means) to retreat from the fight with Cinder. We also had Winter snooping into James' personal journal (naughty, naughty

My name is Allie, or Lotus. This summer, I launched a podcast called Burning Love hosted and distributed by Burning Man. The show is about what happens when people fall in love on playa and try to bring love home from Home.
Iβm looking for subjects to appear in a future episode about a playa romance that didnβt end happily ever after.
There are two important prereqs for this showβs potential subjects:
Both people involved must be willing to appear in the episode Both people must have enough distance from what happened that they can laugh about it now
A wide variety of stories could fit this bill; it might not chronicle a traditional breakup. Iβm looking for a couple (or former couple) with a playa love story that went in a different direction than expected. Read: the on-playa romance didnβt result in a conventional, monogamous partnership back home.
The first episode of Burning Love premiered right before this yearβs Burn. You can read about the launch on The Burning Man Journal and listen to Episode 1 on SoundCloud.

Yo Burners --
I'm writing to see if you can help me with a special story call for a podcast mini-series called Burning Love. The podcast premise in a nutshell:
What happens when people fall in love on playa and try to bring it home?
Each episode features a different couple with a different outcome. For the next episode, Iβm searching for two people who met at Burning Man, fell in love there, returned home with high hopes, and...
...it didn't work out.
When I say "didn't work out," I mean that their love story didn't result in conventional, monogamous, long-term partnership. The particulars could take a variety of forms.
But whatever it was that happened, I'm looking for a love story that failed specifically because it couldn't survive the transition from on-playa to "default world."
This episode will explore to the tension between the love and partnership that's possible during that one inimitable week in the dust, and the realities the rule our lives during the remaining 51 weeks of the year.
Hijinks, plot twists, and high stakes welcome.
Another thing - I'm specifically looking to include both parties in the episode. I'll record the subjects separately, so the former couple doesn't even need to be on speaking terms, just both willing to speak about the experience.
And now two asks:
a) Does anyone come to mind who would fits this bill? Do you?
b) Would you be willing to pass this note along to any Burning Man listserves you're on?
You can hear Burning Love on iTunes, and read an intro to the premise of mini-series in this post for The Burning Man Journal.
