Looking at the route Colin flew in his KR-2 (great article) … Does anyone know why he chose to fly around Greenland instead of over it? Terrain seems to top out about 9,000’ - can the KR-2 just not operate that high? Napkin-planning a similar trip …

I worry about increasing the number of toll (or even partially tolled, like this proposed "express lane") around Kansas. It seems like when you underfund infrastructure like Republicans have for many years now, you get a number of bad choices. In this case, the express lane will be minimally used by cost-conscious or sensitive people, because even $0.65 a trip adds up fast. There was an argument made that hey, adding this express lane will free up space on the non-paid 2 lanes, and I'm like you'll just force everyone except those who have the ability to pay to be limited to those 2 lanes. I hope I can help build opposition to the toll lanes and focus on simply expanding the number of lanes that are going to be built on I-69.
The plan gives $1400 stimulus checks to individuals making $75k or less per year (66.56) with a phase out from 75k to 80k (an additional 2.8%).
So for all the leftists screeching betrayal: stop. Get some help. This is a huge blow against inequality.

On July 01, 2019, California's population was estimated at 39,437,610.
On July 01, 2020, California's population was estimated at 39,368,078.
That is a decrease of 69,532, or 0.18%.
California has long been known for being a fast-growing state, but in recent years, population growth in the state has stagnated, culminating in the Census Bureau estimating it'd lose population for the first time since it became a state. Aside from a loss in congressional seats for California, what will a shrinking California mean for both the state itself and the nation? Will the state begin to lose influence and importance in national politics? And do you all expect its population to rebound during the 2020s, or do you expect its population to shrink even faster as years go by?
On the other hand, Texas' population grew even faster between 2019 and 2020 (+373,965) then it did between 2018 and 2019 (+362,230). Is it inevitable that Texas' population will surpass California's population, and if so, when do you estimate it'll happen, and what will that mean for the country?
The Soviets get right to work, breeding the most savage dog they can and injecting it with steroids, growth hormones, gene therapy- you name it. This goes on for a year until at last they’re convinced they have bred the most vicious dog imaginable. Finally, the big day arrives. The stadium is packed- Soviets on one side, Americans on the other.
At 8:00 sharp the lights go down. The Soviet National Anthem is played as they wheel out their prize canine in a titanium cage. This dog is the ultimate savage- frothing at the mouth, biting at the cage bars. He is something to be feared! Moments later, the U.S. National Anthem is played- and out comes an old guy walking a poodle on a leash. The audience goes deathly quiet as each side takes it in in disbelief!
Suddenly the Soviet dog chews through the steel bars and races toward the poodle. It’s no contest! The Soviet dog leaps- jaws open, ready to tear the poodle limb from limb.
Suddenly- the poodle opens its mouth wide and literally engulfs the bigger dog and swallows it down whole.
Afterwards, the chief Soviet scientist is talking to the American side:
“I ... I cannot believe what I just saw! We poured billions of dollars into that dog!”
The American nods-
“We did too... on plastic surgery on an alligator.”
