In addition to rambling incoherently at times, Biden is prone to memory lapses and so-called gaffes. Some examples:
– Biden has forgotten what state he was in on multiple occasions. He referred to Houston and Michigan as the sites of last year’s mass shootings that occurred in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.
– While campaigning Biden struggled to remember Obama’s name, referring to him as his former boss. He has confused prominent figures like Margaret Thatcher and Angela Merkel.
– Biden stated that MLK and RFK were assassinated in “the late 70s” despite calling Kennedy the “one true hero of my life” and plagiarizing from RFK during the 80s.
– While speaking with reporters, Biden confused the date of the Parkland school shooting. He said “those kids in Parkland came up to see me ‘when I was vice president.’” Members of Congress were “basically cowering, not wanting to see them. They did not want to face it on camera.” The shooting took place after Biden left office.
Progressive, alternative, and social media need to bring attention to this problem if the corporate media is not willing to do so.
