Komatsu LAV, with a crewman holding a Type 87 ChΕ«-Mat
The Komatsu LAV w/ Type 87 ChΕ«-Mat is a Japanese light armored vehicle with a Type 87 ATGM carried by a crew member sticking out of the vehicle, not too unlike the M113 TOW in game as seen in the Italian and PRC/ROC trees, but this will be much more mobile. It may not be the most steady and reliable anti-tank platform, but it can maneuver to positions quickly, and deliver a very powerful ATGM to targets wherever they may be. This could would be an addition to the Japanese tank destroyer line in Tier VI, at battle rating 7.3 to 8.0.
Since this essentially combines two weapon systems, the history section for this vehicle will entail the development and features of both the Type 87 ChΕ«-Mat and the Komatsu LAV.
History: The Type 87 ChΕ« -Mat ATGM
The Type 87 ChΕ«-MAT, an ATGM comparable to systems like the TOW, MILAN, HJ-8, and 9K111.
Japan began development of a new missile to replace the older Type 64-MAT in 1976. Before this time, the aforementioned missile was one of Japan's first military designs developed after World War II, and though they were never exported, they fit the need of the Japanese. This new missile was trialed in 1982, with a full prototype delivered in 1985, followed by a second prototype in February 1986. Procurement of the new missile was delayed until 1989, until it finally began seeing service, and received the designation Type 87 ChΕ«-MAT. Since then, production has been rather slow, at around 24 launchers per year.
The Type 87 consists of 4 components, the launcher, the laser designator, the tripod, and the missile itself. The designator and launcher can be separated up to 200 meters and still work, but is most commonly used on the tripod itself. The maximum range of the missile is about 2 km, and it has an estimated penetration of about 700mm.

Hello all, Hope you can help. I'm sure I've heard Sam mention a particular type of meditation - sounds like Zoltan or something. I keep missing it. I've tried searching online but no joy. Does anyone know the name of it please? I'm interested in looking further into it. Thanks π

Hi all,
Planning on selling my car soon and wanted to see what a fair price for it would be.
It's got 233k mi and no mechanical issues. It's been my daily for a few years. It's got your normal cosmetic wear and tear ofc but overall good. Got new tires ~10k mi ago also.
I'm in CA and seen similar ones with less miles around ~5-6k. I'm thinking probably $2-3k?
Thanks for the input!
