A list of puns related to "Tt8"
Ive borrowed my search down and am now trying to chose between the 2. Anyone with experience between the 2? Good, bad, or otherwise.
Planning to buy one of these. Anyone with real world experience? Unable to find many reviews especially for the MyRun. Appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance
Hello,
I'm considering buying one of these treadmills and I know they're not considered the best for intervals due to the relatively slow speed changes but assuming I can get over that and I want to create a custom interval routine and want the machine to change the speed for me, something like this...
5 mins @ 6mph
1 mins @ 10mph
2 mins @ 6mph
1 mins @ 10.5mph
2 mins @ 6mph
1 mins @ 11mph
2 mins @ 6mph
1 mins @ 11.5mph
2 mins @ 6mph
1 mins @ 12mph
2 mins @ 6mph
1 mins @ 12.5mph
5 mins @ 6mph
Is it possible to create a routine like that on these machines? Or is it limited somehow? Maybe limited by all the intervals needing to be the same length? Or total time? Or limited by the total amount of speed changes / segments allowed?
Anyone have one of these machines and tried something like this?
Thanks in advance.
Looking at ordering one of these two for Black Friday
~$2500 range.
TT8 is about on sale for 2.5k while myrun is 2.9k. TT8 is rated up to 400, myrun rated to 308
Have never had residential fitness equipment, it will be used mostly for walking not very much running at all at least for a while. I am not very in shape and the wife is a larger woman about 300. Looking for something dependable with good warrant/customer service and a good weight rating. Im skeptical the myrun weight rating is too low for what i need, but ive seen conflicting information in my research when it comes to the weight ratings vs weight limits. im put off by the busy nature of a console i feel like the sole may be too flashy in terms of features that won't get used. I like the simple design of the myrun but also concerned the extra money is just paying for the brand. thoughts?
I'm trying to decide between these three models and would greatly value opinions. I'm 6 feet tall & 175 pounds and run 6 mile increments at 8.7mph three to four times a week. I'm 42 years old and also play tennis so cushioning is important for my knees. I've seen the horror stories about Nordictrack in general but understand at least the X22i has a new model with improvements. I've also seen videos of the X22i bouncing/shaking and my wife and I are expecting a baby in September so minimizing noise is also important. And I'm all ears if you have a rec for a different brand/model in this price range. Thanks for reading!
Hi there, considering a new Sole treadmill and the 3 models in the title were of interest. Was hoping for a 'Compare' option on their site but could not find one and wondered if anyone had any info on the difference between these. I know the TT8 is light commercial and seems to include the waxed rollers which I don't believe S77 or F85 have.
Any info is greatly appreciated along with how long (for those that have these) they have taken to arrive after order.
Thanks
I've got a 15 year old TT8 that is slowly dying. Motor slow to start, leds burnt out, shuddering of belt when running, etc. It gets a lot of use in a four person household with a combination of walking, jogging (up to half marathon), and occasionally intervals.
I don't really use any apps, don't use preset programs, and usually just toss the iPad on it for entertainment.
I'm fine with buying a new treadmill as after 15 years I don't want to sink money into the old one. The 2021 F85 has a new tablet/touchscreen interface that looks good but I've seen some negative reviews. The TT8 won't get that interface for, according to Sole, about 6 months.
With a budget not to exceed $2500 what do I buy?? I initially leaned toward TT8 as our old one has been fantastic but the new touchscreen on the F85 looks sharp.
I run a minimum 7 miles a day at least 6 times a week. The wife will be using the treadmill too for at least 4 times per week at 5+ miles each. Before the pandemic all our running was 99% on the Life Fitness or PreCor treadmills at 24 Hour Fitness. Since March of this year, all of our running has been outdoors on sidewalks. It's getting cold out there and the rains are coming, so we decided it be in our best interest to get a treadmill that could take up to 15 miles a day multiple times a week. The outdoor running has really beat up my feet and knees too.
Are there any other brands or models I should look into?
We don't need any of the iFit or Peloton type programs as we'll mainly just be staring at the wall or out the garage or to a TV. Just want something that will last and in the off chance something needs repair, the service/warranty is good. There's a PreCor dealer in the area also, but they seem very pricey for less "features" and "HP" but I'm wondering if being able to buy from a "local" dealer is better when it comes to repairs and such.
There are a ton of options out there, but if anyone with similar running behavior that owns or has experience with home treadmills has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Hey all,
Looking for advice for a treadmill for someone who runs quite a lot. I'd likely be using it for key workouts and some shorter sessions (though hopefully can get in some easy stuff outside - it depends though because we can get smoke here in the summers and that irritates the asthma - so I might have to sometimes run exclusively indoors).
I run 6-7 days a week. 2 of those runs are workouts, which would last 80-90 minutes and cover 18-21km roughly. 1 of those runs is a long run, say 2-2.5 hours 26-35km. It wouldn't be atypical for me to do that as a progression or have some work in there. And then I'd do a few shorter easy runs, probably including another 80 minute run at easy pace, and then one day with a 50 minute run and 2 days with a 30-40 doubles.... So a lot of work for the poor tread. I'm light though, so there's that.
Should I just get something commercial with an AC motor? Or can a DC stand up to this kind of abuse? I've read in a few places DC motors shouldn't run continuously for more than 50 mins...is this true?
Not too fussy about screens. Would like speed above 12mph if possible. And easy speed selection at higher paces (in the 10-12 mph range). Would like a good fan, but I already have some for my bike trainer.
Top contenders are the landace L10, L7 (but has a DC motor), Lifespan 6000i at the moment. Anything else anyone would recommend or anyone have experience with those mills? The woodway is out of my price range... unless I could get a refurbished one somewhere. Kind of also considering the sole TT8, but it has a DC motor and I didn't love the run feel of it. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has had one for a few year and how it held up.
Or if anyone has advice for how to get treadmills from gyms...
Thanks in advance!
I've spent hours to days of research on treadmills, including Peloton, Norditrak, Precor, Life Fitness, Woodway, Bowflex, and Lifespan. I don't see much information on Lifespan, but from a purely specs standpoint they seem to offer the best bang for the buck. While technology is nice, I fear that it will be one of the first points of failure as wear-and-tear set in. I have a 13" iPad Pro that I can use for my media needs. I did look into the Sole F85 2021 model with its 10" screen but the software issues seems really iffy on it from what I have read so far.
The most important factors to me are:
So I've narrowed my search down to these 3 models and am leaning towards the TR7000i. They all seem pretty similar, but I'm leaning towards the 7000i since from a price standpoint, it is normally $1000 but it equally priced to the 6000i. What stands out the most for each model for me are:
Am I making the right choice?
Another important question is if my room can handle it. My house was built in 2021. I plan to put this treadmill in my game room, which will have a gaming computer, TV, electric fan, and the treadmill. I checked my circuit breaker and it says "15" on the switch. The requirement for the 7000i states "Requires a 115V NEMA 5-15 Non GFI Circuit." I'm hoping that's what that means? I don't plan to share the treadmill's outlet with anything else, but all of the outlets share the same circuit breaker switch. Will this be an issue?
I appreciate all of your help in advance!
Do your worst!
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Here is a virtual tour of the ballroom: https://visitingmedia.com/tt8/?ttid=four-seasons-hotel-westlake-village#/360?group=1&tour=0&b11t0=1&a10ph=1
The ballroom can be split into 5 sections if you don't have enough people to fill it up. Trisha had her ceremony in one section, and when it was done, the team opened the wall dividers and connected the ceremony room with the stage to the rest of the banquet and moved the chairs from the ceremony to the round reception tables that were waiting to be completed. That's why you can see the weird stage awkwardly left there by the dance floor. The ceremony chairs were placed on top of the dance floor to make the floors look white during the ceremony.
The ballroom is $60k and it includes all food and drink (including cake).
If your wedding is on a Saturday, like mine and Trisha's, the food and drink minimum is $60k to use the ballroom. There is no additional fee to use the ballroom. The most premium food package that they offer is $225 per person. The most premium bar package costs $80 per person. So if Trisha went with the MOST premium packages the Four Seasons Westlake offers, she spent $305 per guest.
Trisha would HAVE to have a minimum of 200 guests to reach the $60,000 minimum. Otherwise, she simply needs to pay the 60k and can just invite her less than 200 guests. This is why trisha lied to us and said there were 200 people there when we can see clear as day there were NOT 200 guests. It's just what she had to pay to use the venue.
If you want proof, I can post a part 2 with the actual food/beverage packages that contain the pricing but it's nothing extraordinary.
I want the same decor as Trisha so I got some prices...
They were cooked in Greece.
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
Two muffins are in an oven, one muffin looks at the other and says "is it just me, or is it hot in here?"
Then the other muffin says "AHH, TALKING MUFFIN!!!"
Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
