Hello, I am a fourth year criminal justice student at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Canada. As part of my Honours thesis, I am conducting a study on the consumption of true crime podcasts and listenersβ opinions on crime and justice policy in the Canadian context. For the purposes of this study, I am looking for participants 18 years of age or older who consider themselves to be regular consumers of true crime podcasts and who are Canadian residents.
Participation in this study will involve the completion of a survey about your true crime podcast consumption habits and your opinions on criminal justice policies in Canada. The survey will be delivered online and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

As someone who is very selective with the type of true crime I consume, I have always been bothered by how some in the true crime forums are almost unwilling to criticize the Justice system. I remember on in the true crime podcast subreddit, there was someone promoting a podcast that maintains that there is and I quote βNo such thing as wrongful conviction issues in the US.β. Itβs just mind boggling to me that we can time after time see issues and wrongful convections and there are STILL some people who are denying this.
I'm Irish by the way. When the Hillsborough tragedy took place I was a few months shy of 8 years old. Watching documentaries and stuff on sites like YouTube taught me more about what actually happened on the day. I'm disgusted with The Scum newspaper. I'm incensed by the fact that justice hasn't been done. Anne Williams and more like her went to their graves with no proper closure. Any Liverpudlians here who were affected by the Hillsborough tragedy I'm so sorry you had to experience that. I can't imagine how you're feeling. I'm not a football fan but You'll Never Walk Alone. We're all behind you in the walk to justice.
Hello! I had random thoughts about P5 and P5R, and I realised (once again) that the game, its world and its rules are REALLY well written. You never think at a moment that this comes from nowhere. There is a reason that things go this way if you look for it. To show it, I will talk about maybe the MOST important Confidant of the game, at the same level of Igor in term of Scenario: Sae Nijima.
To explain it, I will have to quickly remind a few things: How the Metaverse works (for me at least), the importance of a confidant and especially to max it, and I will explain the questions we can ask ourselves in the different ending of the game.
First thing first: how does the Metaverse work? What is the Meetaverse? To stick to what Morgana said, the Metaverse is the representation of Human's cognition: their representation of reality. So this world is strictly guided by a rule that can't be ignored as soon as we talk about Mementos, palace and such: The Metaverse and its rules are established according to the Owner of the palace. If in a palace, someone regards something as unbreakable, then no matter what you do in their palace, you can't break it. You have to change the vision of the owner to attempt to do it. And in the mementos, which can be roughly regarded as the palace of Humanity, as long as Humanity believes in the same thing all together, then this belief will be represented in the mementos, and as long as not all humanity doesn't agree to the same thing, the vision of this in the Mementos will be distorded or can't be exactly represented. Which explains why The God of Control couldn't beat the Phantom Thieves: There were still people believing in them, and it is the reason both Maruki and the other god lost: Resistance remained.
So all we have to remember is: Humanity's vision of reality and concept establish the rules of the metaverse, and as long as not all humanity agrees on the vision of this concept, this concept will have some bugs or distorsion (explaining why the mementos represents how people sees the world and the fact it look so weird.)

I used to visit this site years ago when it was difficult to get reliable news on the case. Once the reports were widely available in English, I stopped looking there.
Recently, I went back there out of curiosity.
How can anyone find anything on that site? I see that there are all sorts of tabs, but then the content within those tabs seem all thrown together. As an attorney, I'm pretty good at research, but I can't find anything there.
As for the content, I have some questions. Now that materials are more accessible, and we have better sources, I am not sure about how reliable the articles are. I mean, it appears there is a lot of great content, but then there are some items that appear to be pure speculation and some that really get off the path. It also seems that there is too much emphasis on providing ad hominem to discredit sources that the site doesn't like (the owner seems to have a lot of vendettas).
Maybe the content needs to be stripped out and re-organized so that the fluff and news doesn't invade the case analysis.
