A list of puns related to "Triple M Adelaide"
Probably showing my age here but IMO, Radio Adelaide resembles the Triple J i grew up with. Lots of cool local music from both SA and interstate. Highly recommend. 101.5 for anyone interested.
Hi, everyone! Apologies if this post breaks rules. If it does, please remove.
Iβm American, my wife (of 11 years) is from Adelaide. Weβve lived in the US since we were married. This time last year we began the process of obtaining permanent residency for me such that we could move to my wifeβs hometownβ Adelaide.
I HAVE JUST BEEN GRANTED FULL PERMANENT RESIDENCY! OMG we are so excited!!! Sheβs so happy to be going βhomeβ and I canβt wait to live in Adelaide!
I visited Adelaide in 2009 and loved it. Omg Iβm so excited lol Iβm sorry that this post is stupid. I just canβt wait!

Finally! After few months of lockdown, South Australia is reopening its border again for everyone
I have been living in NSW for almost 6 years now, and I say that Adelaide is a superior and a much better city than the current state Iβm living in.
I tested positive on New Years Eve which started off with severe sore throat, nasal congestion, cough, chills, muscle aches, loss of smell and taste, and diarrhea. Now I got nausea, headaches, cough with minor chest pain, and fatigue. Iβm starting to get my sense of smell and taste back slowly but itβs really not much.
Covid is no fucking joke even with the vaccinations and booster shot. I probably would be in the hospital or even dead if I got the disease before the vaccinations came out.
Iβm still hoping I come out of this fully healed.
Thatβs basically it. I took an at home test, which was positive. I have a Kaiser appointment for Friday, but basically I get to spend Christmas alone. What a bummer.
Iβve been so careful too!
Anyone else get a breakthrough case? Iβm assuming itβs the omicron variant?
Edit: GET VACCINATED AND GET BOOSTERED. Iβm high risk, so if not for my three vaccines, Iβd probably be in the hospital right now instead of cozy on my couch. My symptoms are more like the flu with some coughing. Iβm miserable, but Iβm miserable at home.
Edit 12/25: PCR was positive, Merry Christmas!
So Iβve known I was trans for a while now but I had originally came out to my partner as gender questioning. I have just opened up to her about my wish to physically transition and have gotten absolute positivity.
So I looked on the resources posted here and booked in with Justyna Powierza at Blackwood medical centre, but Iβm not sure what other steps I should be taking. Iβm looking to get on HRT as soon as i can but Iβm not clear on the process. At this point Iβm not interested in surgery and can do voice training online, so my main goal is to get on hormones at the moment.
Iβd love to get any help or suggestions from yβall. Thanks, Freya
This the last straw
They couldn't point me to anything published online regarding said fines or any estimated amount. I just want to drive home and isolate for as long as they require me to. Does anyone have personal experience with this?
Edit: To clarify, you have to either have a negative COVID test, or a positive one from 14 days ago. The people that meet neither of those criteria are screwed apparently as I just found out today.
howdy y'all,
i work as a CNA at a hospital where we (surprise) recently converted several of our rooms to accommodate covid+ patients. mind you, we're normally a med-surg unit.
we were one of the last units to NOT be in a covid outbreak, but now it's taking several of our nurses and CNAs down one by one. great way to start 2022, ya know.
there are so many covid+ patients in our hospital that patients who have been exposed (but are presently asymptomatic) are just in regular rooms. i happened to have 2 of these patients in my assignment on the 30th and 31st.
i worked on dec. 30th and 31st. completely normal, all good. i was set to work on jan. 1st but woke up with an awful sore throat. i figure, better safe than sorry, so i failed my employee health screener, called out, and got a PCR test.
that was the only symptom i had on the 1st. but that night, i woke up at 2AM and felt super ill. i was so dizzy and could barely make it to the bathroom before i threw up the entirety of what i ate throughout the day. i was so weak that i had to wake my boyfriend up to assist me back to bed. i barely slept the rest of the night.
i woke up, and found out that my PCR test came back negative.
despite that, the 2nd was AWFUL. i was running a fever (around 101.5-102) all day. i had a terrible headache and muscle aches. all i had the energy to do was nap all day and periodically wake up to drink fluids and take medicine. i had not felt this sick in a long, long time.
overnight, my fever broke and i felt a lot better on the 3rd. my only remaining symptoms are moderate chest congestion, coughing, and some CRAZY night sweats.
i took another PCR test and called out of work for the 4th (today).
lo and behold, im positive.
i figured it was only a matter of time, but damn. this sucks. and now im out of work for the next 5 days, retest on the 6th day, and go from there. im worried about the state of our hospital because this is decimating us.
Starting with the PCT, then at the northern terminus, turning east and following the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail until it intersects with the northern terminus of the CDT, then at the southern terminus of the CDT I backtrack to Albuquerque, hop over to Santa Fe, and follow the Santa Fe Trail / American Discovery Trail to St. Louis, which leaves a 521 mile hike passing through Nashville to get me to the southern terminus of the AT.
