went to Trey Kennedy’s live comedy show and he did a bit about “crazy white baby names” and specifically called out “some friends named their kid Ember….no, not Amber, which is a hairdresser’s name..EMber”. He mocked the parents who insert over emotionally sweet voice “named her because of the bonfires we sat around..” but then landed with basically saying “nah. we all know Ember is a stripper name” I dunno if anyone else in the room is on this thread and/or caught the crossover but I was dying and had to share.

Suddenly Trey's being flooded with emails talking about suicide to pressure him into quitting?
Reminds me of Taliban tactics in Afghanistan: they'd post "night letters" on the doors of local houses, warning people to stop supporting ISAF forces. These would be death threats, fake letters from kids and relatives, fake suicide notes, fake kidnapping threats, etc.
This is an old psywar tactic -- the mob, KGB, FBI, and CIA have used it too.
If Trey is suddenly getting tons of letters making him feel "responsible", it stands to reason they did a psych profile of him, and figured he would break down if they talked about families losing loved ones because he promotes AMC.
Hope he understands SHFs would do that - they're 100% amoral psychopaths. No doubt, some people contacting him have real issues. Fact is, it's always going to be a mix of legit people + the bad guys exploiting real people -- amplifying real problems to manipulate things in their direction.
Don't be surprised to see the media pick up this theme, with new articles asking "Youtubers causing suicides with bad investment advice?" -- followed by editorials on why we should censor people who like AMC to "protect emotionally vulnerable people from conspiracy theories".
That's always the excuse to justify censorship: "you're wrong and we're protecting you from yourself" -- calling it now.
