A list of puns related to "Torino Film Festival"
This film also received many nominations.
An off duty police officer begins to suspect a local man for having had an affair with his recently dead wife. Gradually his obsession for finding out the truth accumulates and inevitably begins to endanger himself and his loved ones. This is a drama/thriller.
The scenery is beautiful.
Gaby owns a sheep farm. He has no son. When a grown daughter shows up at the family farm in desperate need of money, Gaby will be asked to sacrifice everything for those closest to him.
How much would you be willing to give up for those you love?
The film Pretenders, directed by James Franco and written by Josh Boone, was apparently screened at the Torino Film Festival last week, but I couldn't find any information about it on a website that is not in Italian. I found this rather odd, since Franco and Boone are pretty famous and the cast of the film isn't bad either (Franco, Juno Temple, Dennis Quaid, Jane Levy, Brian Cox, Shameik Moore, etc.).
Does anybody know about this film, why it had its premiere in Italy, how it was received there and why nobody is talking about it in English-speaking countries?
Howdy redditors. Iโm Gregory Barnes the writer and director of The Touch of the Masterโs Hand. It won the 2021 Sundance Film Festival Jury Prize for Best US Fiction and after a year of playing festivals, itโs online!
You can watch it here
Filmed in a Mormon meetinghouse, Masterโs Hand follows a Mormon missionary troubled by an unnatural temptation, who must confess the humiliating depths of his pornography addiction to his Mission President.
Hereโs a short video intro to get to know me and the movie
Iโm looking forward to chatting all about movies, mormons, and mormons in movies.
