A list of puns related to "Tolworth Girls' School"
We have eventual plans for buying a house in one of these areas. Planning to rent first for a while. What do you love or hate about the areas are there some areas in Surbiton or colliers wood that we should avoid, we are planning a baby soon so is this a good area for a couple with children in respect to schools?
I hope it's ok to post this here. About six months ago I mentioned here that I had written a novel about a fictional numbers station, called The Tolworth Beacon. I wanted to let you know that for a limited time it's free to download digitally on Kindle. I have put the UK link here but it should be available through any of Amazon's international pages. I hope, if you download it, that you enjoy reading it.

During a British summer heatwave, a much-loved supermarket prepares to celebrate a historic milestone, and Store Manager Chris Powell is coming to terms with his fractured marriage while planning the Royal visit.
But what is the significance of the attempted burglary at the house across the street from where he lives, and the nocturnal dog walker who doesn't seem to have a dog?
Chris Powell is about to discover that some things are best left well alone.
"A gripping, suspenseful and clever book."
"The ending astonishes... I could not put it down"
Very cool new mural in Tolworth! Anyone seen it yet?

Is anyone else upset at the lack of recognition that the majestic Tolworth Tower receives? You always hear people talk about the Burj Khalifa but that so called modern "wonder" doesn't even have an M&S on the bottom floor. It's pathetic.
Is it a coincidence that Tolworth Tower was completed in 1963 and just a few years later we had this iconic scene of the Monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey? I don't think so.
Anyway, please post your favourite Tolworth Tower memories and anecdotes here. And remember, the Tower is always watching.
Hello!
My first ever skate park experience on a beautiful bank holiday Monday.
Tolworth skate park was empty, gate was open. The bowl is out of my league, I cant imagine rollerskaters going there! I watched in dread and left. I wouldn't know how to get up from the bowl let alone if I crashed and needed help.
By accident I found Waters Edge / Cox Lane Skate Park, while cycling towards Long Grove. It was quiet, with families with children with BMX bikes there. I had my very first skate park experience there safely, and without any pros laughing :) :) very very friendly people there. A good skateboarder was there, fun watching. I practiced skating into a transition, and reverse back to the opposite transition. I hope I get the terminology right. It was a lot of fun.
Eventually I made my way to Long Grove. It was already busy, and I chose the most rollerskate friendly section. Lots of kids, teenagers , all behaving and all that :) first time skating to the flat spot above a transition (not sure what they're called), it was so cool. I crashed hard once there but didn't get injured. Very few people have protective gear but again nobody else had rollerblades, skates..
I hope this helps those in the area!
It's not fair If I did it to her everyone would know but cause she's the popular loud girl no one cares.
For context, Iβm a senior (12 grade, for those that done use Americaβs wack grade nickname system) that goes to an online high school, but my younger sister goes to a normal in person high school. We just recently moved so I know absolutely no one in the area. Iβm volunteering for her high schoolβs playoff football game tomorrow and want to attempt to get a guyβs number (or give my number to a guy, if that would be less weird) because I want to challenge myself to get out more. I also want to attempt to meet people in the area.
Iβm curious if you guys have any tips for the best way to go about this? Would just straight up saying βhey I think youβre cute, do you want to exchange numbers?β work? Or would it be better if I start a brief convo before hand, then mention heβs cute and ask for his number? (riskier because more opportunities for me to fuck up cause of the convo lol) What approach would lead to me most likely actually getting a guyβs number? (Without of course freaking the guy out lol)
Any and all tips would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!
iβm about to be 20, she turned 18 recently but was only a grade below me in school. i found out through someone that she has an onlyfans page now and i saw the description page and all of what she does etc. i knew her in school, not super well but she was close friends with some of my friends. very shy, quiet and reserved, but also very mentally ill and needed help from her family but i donβt think she ever properly got that. i remember sticking up for her because a boy sexually harassed her and she was too afraid to say anything. now sheβs having sex in public in nyc for 30 year old men online. iβm just saddened and feel very sick. sick to see these sick fucking men lusting after a girl who is young enough to be their daughter in certain occasions. this sick society tells young girls that this is the answer, meanwhile they are all ruining their future. sex work isnβt long term. i really hope she gets out of this shit before itβs too late. she made her account as SOON as she turned 18 and uses the βbarely legalβ thing as an advertisement. how disgusting is this world to fetishize being βbarely legalβ. iβm just disgusted. not with her, but with this world. i almost and could have easily fallen down that same rabbit hole she did. women around my age are now conditioned to believe itβs easy work, lots of money with no strings attached. itβs all bullshit.
I read this when I was a preteen so it would've been 2010 or 2011. It was a young adult graphic novel with a monochromatic color scheme, mainly purple I think? The main character was a girl who lived with her single mother. I remember her having nightmares about her dad and she also kept a ring or maybe a key that belonged to her dad on a necklace. She meets a friendly monster with a weird name and the name of the monster was the tile of the book. They end up running away together and find some myserious door and then the book ends. I don't know if it was supposed to be a series or not, I only read the one book.
