This was an unusually short show, and I'm 99% sure it was meant to be longer. Before Tortoise, the band actually got ready to play another song (judging by the instruments everyone had, I think it was going to be Lampshades), but Isaac skipped it and went straight into Tortoise, causing the other guys to have to switch instruments to catch up with him. Then after Missed the Boat, again the rest of the band was in the middle of setting up for the next song when Isaac announced there'd be a 15 minute break. It wasn't clear if this was the encore break or something else going on, but when they came back Isaac mentioned something about being unable to hear from one of his ears. They then played the last 4 songs and called it a night. We all thought maybe they'd come back again, but after about 5-10 minutes the house lights came on and it was clear the show was over. A bit disappointing, but honestly it was still a good performance and the set list was great. Just makes me worried that Isaac's got some other issues going on, especially considering the reviews from their Forecastle set.

Just between us squirrel friends, I have two tickets for the one and only Alaska Thunderfuck's gig tomorrow night (Friday 6th July) in Tivoli Theatre at 8pm!
