In just one month, the Vermintide community has turned out incredible support for the community-run event channel Fight the Tide, where events such as Vermintide Festival and the Onslaught Series are hosted. Thanks to your support, we cracked over 1k followers in six days, and as a thank you, we put our heads together to create a small, impromptu event for you in return (think of this as a mini-Vermintide Festival)!
This milestone stream will feature interviews from Fatshark developers and writers, community content creators, fan artists; and this time, we are extremely honored and excited to have the privilege of interviewing Tim Bentinck, the voice actor of Victor Saltzpyre to bless our ravaged bodies!

Ya’ll it’s another Saltzpyre post. I think we can safely say that this is the most anticipated content FS has ever produced for the game. We always get excited for new content(weaves aren’t real, there were never any weaves), but this is what we might call unprecedented. Horrendous wars continue to be waged over the upcoming class, with the well established Warrior Priest camp fighting the ever present insurgents of Vampyre Saltzpyre and various others. Posts have been made in vain to squeeze information from the devs, acts of understandable desperation. This kind of anticipation was not present for the other classes, not in its intensity or volume. No leaks have been made to temper expectations or kill hype. It’s been crazy.
This sort of thing would not have happened if it wasn’t for the absolutely incredible performance of Tim Bentinck, Fatsharks resident nobleman. The amount of effort he puts into every line is insane. The performance is the most over the top of all the U5, and that takes some serious energy. He was given a villainous character and produced a hero that we loved when we first fired up the game. His entire performance roped me into Vermintide, and eventually into the Warhammer Fantasy world proper. Bentinck’s voice work as a bombastic, menacing, cruel, and comically single minded hero has roused nearly every nerd in this subreddit to speculate and bicker Endlessly. It’s not just new content for a game we love, for many of us this is the next chapter of Victor’s story and the main event. We’re here for Him and Bentinck. That being said, it’s time to accept that it might be a while, and quite frankly that’s fine with me. This shouldn’t be rushed and deserves serious effort, so devs and the entire vermintide team….take your time. God damn I’m excited though guys
