A list of puns related to "Thompson Twins"
Mothers Against Genetic Engineering in Food and the Environment (MAdGE), was the group she founded and their billboards, such as the one below, won awards. Alannah left NZ in 2004, but my understanding was that this group was carrying on.
You don't hear anything about GE food any more. Did people just give up? How widespread did it become?

So Boris Williams is cited as being in the Thompson Twins in 1983 prior to joining the Cure. He is not, however, listed on the Thompson Twins wiki as a member during that year. I believe he was either a touring musician or did studio work for them. I was hoping for the latter. Do any of you rabid fans know whether his unmatchable drumming was ever featured on a recorded Thompson Twins song?
If it was just for touring perhaps there is a recorded live show out there with him on it. Thanks!
The third Thompson Twins book is available for purchase and a copy arrived in my mailbox yesterday! We hired a new illustrator and are very happy with the art she created.
The new book takes place at Duluth's Glensheen mansion. Suspicious things are happening there and the Twins are called in to help get to the bottom of it. Though it's a story about a possible haunting, it's not Goosebumps, picture more Scooby Doo.
This is a mid-grade (3rd through 6th grade), interactive detective series. Picture a combination of: Encyclopedia Brown, Magic Tree House, and Choose Your Own Adventure. Great gifts for the budding sleuths in your home, or for nieces, nephews, and neighbors! Though it's a series, the books are designed to stand on their own and operate independent of one another.

Sounds like the line βStay With meβ which is repeated multiple times in the song by the Thompson twins, but most of the song sounds like that part

Imagine.. you're just a normal housewife who married her college sweetheart. You move in together, build a home and a family. Your husband is a hardworking man and you have 4 wonderful children together. But little did you know that your life was going to involve affairs, scandal, and murder.
This story truly sounds like it was made for a movie instead of real life. Carol Thompson was murdered in 1963 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her husband T. Eugene Thompson was the one who planned it all. Eugene was having an affair with a younger woman and thought they could run away together after he hired someone to kill his wife, but everything did not go as planned. His wife managed to escape her killer, get help next door, and ultimately dying at the hospital.
What do you think of this case? Why do some people think the best idea for leaving someone is murder? I don't understand that at all. He was a lawyer. Couldn't he have just left his wife and children and moved far away with his new woman and start a new attorney business?
