A list of puns related to "Theatre Kid"
F*ck Yeahhhh
some background info, I work at a movie theatre during winter break for when I'm not at school, during non-break times I tutor various people, this one family i tutored for were like my own family, i basically became like a live in tutor for them when i was not at school. Recently i was staying at their place and working at the theatre when the youngest kid came in with their friends to watch a movie. over the next hour after the kid came in we had five complaints about them being loud, after going into the theatre to see we saw the kid and his friends climbing over the seats while the movie was still playing!! so my manager went up and kicked them out while i stood there and directed the kids out of the theatre. i texted the mother to kindly let her know about the situation for if the kid needed a ride home
later that night around 1 am i got really hostile texts from the mother basically stating that I had no right to kick out her kid, he was "basically my brother", and that i "shouldn't bite the hand that feeds me" i started to feel unsafe so i packed my things and spent the last five days of winter break sleeping on the floor of my father's office in his small apartment. over the next three days i received even more hostile texts from the mother calling me righteous and judgey, i needed to forget about the job i had with them, and other things like that. the older brother attempted to call me repeatedly, when i didn't answer he called me immature. finally, the harassment got so bad that while at work i got a phone call from the father who started out civilized but then he exploded on me because i didn't answer his text that he sent me, he called me a "stupid bitch and a loser" after that i had to tell my manager about the problem because it was getting borderline obsessive from their end.
i blocked their phone number and now I'm back at school, Am I the Asshole.
yβall i have been laughing for 24 hours straight now π so my NK4 has a bit of a dramatic streakβ like she has her tantrum moments ofc, but her go-to reaction when she wants her way is to REALLY put on an βIn The Arms Of An Angelβ ass performanceβ¦. it has been making for some of the funniest moments iβve had in my nannying career thus far π
so tell me why yesterday we made muffins. she was extra excited to eat them bc i called them βBlueyβs Blueberry Muffinsβ based on her favorite show. so by the time weβd made them, cooled, & decorated them, it was already dinnertime but she was vvvv impatient to try one. i told her we were going to have dinner real quick & then we could enjoy the muffins togetherβ but i was met with silence.
boyyyy , i turned around to look at her & them eyesβ¦. bona fide 4 year old OUTRAGE! no cap i was almost scared lowkey. π we had a 30-second stare off that ended with her stomping away. i put her dinner in the toaster then went searching for her to calm her down.
eventually found her in the formal dining room, hiding in the dark, under the table. i asked her why it was so upsetting that she needed to eat before treats to which she quickly collected an eye full of tears & began to stare off into the distance. i knew what was coming & it was everything in my power not to bust out laughing. finally sheβd collected her thoughts, & began to lie:
βThe last time I had muffinsβ¦. was with my uncle. Itβs been so long, I really miss him. Thatβs because sadly, he died. I havenβt had a muffin sinceβ¦.β cue SINGULAR TEAR ESCAPING
βoh wowβ¦. iβm so sorry. why didnβt your mom tell me that he died?β
βShe doesnβt knowβ¦.β
this interaction has been really sending me like ???? now why lie on that man over a MUFFIN? π LMFAO?? anyways, her uncle is fineβ she was just on FT with him last week π iβm urging her mother to put her in serious child acting classes because weβre teaching her that there is a point where playing pretend turns into lying, but i donβt want her to lose this randomly dramatic part of herself, itβs TOO entertaining π
my partner is auditioning for next to normal, specifically for natalie, and ik natalie kisses a guy multiple times and im not sure how i feel about it. is this a normal feeling or am i just extremely jealous?
M 23,been a month since my job started, and realized i am not the young teen who was watching iron man with the most excitement when it had released. Sitting there and seeing people of that age doing the same things.that one cute awkward group of 3 guy bestfriends and 1 girl who's dating one out of those three and trynna make her entry into the gang.made me smile and reminded me of my foolish innocence and nostalgia. Still have flashbacks of all these beautiful memories from the past as if they took place just a week back or so. Probably thinking this because I'm still getting used to this next phase of life. Feeling kinda grateful and stuff Tldr:i experienced aging
Whatchu think about that crew
Watchu think
Now I heavily emphasize on the fact this was not all of the theater/choir people as most will be outcasts BUT the kids who were the teachers favorites or got cast in every single role whether they were talented or not peaked in high school.
These kids were (mostly) so entitled and loved the attention and by the time they leave high school most donβt do theatre or choir ever again so they keep crawling back to all the shows in the same way the jocks will to football games. And they never shut up about their lead role or solo from 10 years ago.
The kids from my college choir are a cult and still wear their acapella uniforms post grad on Instagramβ¦itβs embarrassing.
Also when you think about it all the character in Glee peaked in glee club because once they graduated they just kept visiting McKinley at every chance rather than move on.
As of today?
Never been prouder

Tonight something unexpected happened, a bunch of middle schoolers (between 15-20 of them) were talking loudly on the third floor in one of the auditoriums, the third floor is a balcony. Anyway I got a bunch of guest complaints about these kids doing things inside the auditorium like I said before being talking, yelling, and running up and down the isles. I call a manager because obviously this is a problem since the movie started and there always is a message that plays before the movie to not text, post, talk, and not to ruin the movie.
After the manager tells them to be quiet they didn't listen and continued to talk even more than they were before five minutes later, I get even more guest complaints one being one of the kids throwing a drink off the balcony. So I call back the manager and the manager calls security to escort them out of the building. The kids then were blaming each other and started calling each other names as a result. One of the kids even said "oh don't worry about him he's gay" to me. There was about five kids there, and then I see more leaving the theatre.
I thought to myself "oh my god how many kids were making noise in there" one of the kids of the first five kicked out even said "I wasn't kicked out though". The manager gave them the option to refund but for every kid kicked out they could either go back in and watch the movie quietly or leave if they passed me. One or two of them did end up going back in with no issues. They did keep arguing with security a lot upon getting kicked out before they finally exited the building.
If I were to be honest this was entertaining to watch as I pretty much had a front row seat to the entire thing. I didn't expect that many kids to be kicked out at once and hopefully will be the last time something like that happens. The last thing they asked is if they can purchase tickets for the new "Scream" movie coming out and of course my manager said "no because tickets aren't out yet, and you look way too young to purchase those tickets by yourself because it's rated-r".
I was told to not let anyone come in to just use the restroom as a result because they could try sneaking back into the movie, a bit much but I understand why. It was a happy ending for everyone in the theatre though as they got a free movie coupon that doesn't expire. Hope all those kids never show up here again.
