A list of puns related to "The Yes Men Fix The World"
With the supply chain being the network between a company and its suppliers to produce and distribute a specific product to the final buyer, we can say it is an extremely big and important part of the complete business process. Any inefficiency can be crucial and Morpheus Networkβs goal is to fix all the problems that take place in this area.
Recently, the Global Head of Business Development of Morpheus Network, Karl McDermott was interviewed by ISCEA. He gave a great explanation about the goals of Morpheus and the ways how they will realize their objectives and how blockchain will be involved in this process.
These were my conclusions about the interview given by McDermott
Sustainability
The first aspect that gave me a really positive feeling about Morpheus Network is their endgoal to create sustainable supply chains. Every project that reaches for sustainability is promising for me. Focusing on creating a better environment will always deserve that extra goodwill.
Besides making the supply chain more efficient, what indirectly influences the environment in a positive way, Morpheus (and the blockchain) also practices other measurements that create sustainability. For example, robust tracking of Co2 reduction, water, waste and contamination, across the entire supply chain.
The end goal will be the circulation of the supply chain. Creating closed loops in which in which raw materials, components and products lose their value as little as possible which makes it possible to reuse them. The digitalization and automatization will make this a lot easier.
Security
The blockchain will take care of a big part of this. It makes it easier to create trusted datasets. In a supply chain there will me many steps made in between multiple parts of the process (the shipper - freight forwarder - carrier). Blockchain will make it possible to easily store and share data between those parties.
Besides simplifying processing the data, blockchain contributes to a much safer work space. Nowadays, no week goes by without any data hack. Blockchain provides organizations different technologies in order to prevent that.
The use of smart contracts will also help with fixing the inefficiencies. These self-executing contracts will be used as insurance for a variations of events. For example, letβs say there is a catastrophic event to a shipment, the smart contract will eventually know who is responsible and how the process can continue.
These benefits will not onl
... keep reading on reddit β‘I don't know about you guys, but i take 0 pride in the fact i work for such an awful tone deaf company.
They know what we really want. Better technology, more people on a shift, better security, no more adding things like fed ex for us to do. And the most important MONEY. The list goes on and on.
Instead, they decided to make us even more depressed by ignoring us even more. The fact that some millionaire at corporate came up with this lame idea to torture us speaks volumes. This should be even more of an incentive to unionize. Until we do, nothing is going to change.
Corporate is going to run themselves into the ground anyway. With all the new stores being built ( im guessing probably going to be around 25,000 around 2023-24). One is bound to be the change and unionize. Their business model is not sustainable. This company may not even be around in 15-20 years and i hope so!
About the impact of consumerism & where to start looking for the actual emotional and spiritual fulfillment your individualism and isolation has seperated you from in the name of profit.
like 'the yes men save the world' and 'the century of the self' - maybe someone who recognizes these titles can have other (more recent :P) suggestions for movies/docs ?
(I'm looking for inspiration to make a theater production)
If not, what would you do if you were the President of the US Soccer Federation to improve our chances of winning it all?
βPersonally, I think>! YES!< - the USMNT will win a World Cup during my lifetime. Possibly even when the United States (MEX/CAN) host the World Cup in 2026. I think it's finally clicked in the heads of the US Soccer Federation what it'll take to build a World Class National Team.
For Example: In the age of YouTube - It is easier to discover potential talent at such a young age that they'll be so supported, guided, and encouraged that they'll without hesitation pursue soccer as a career. I think Christian Pulisic is a shining example of this system working incredibly well.
β
(Bonus Topic!) Not to dwell on the past, but what do you make of the USMNT not qualifying for this Summers World Cup in Russia? When speaking with a Mexican National friend of mine he swore to me that Tim Howard threw the last game on purpose due to the political tensions between Washington and Moscow (Blatant Election Hacking etc...). Simply to sever the massive influx of $$Cash$$ that would have undoubtedly followed USMNT all over Russia via the hoards of wealthy American tourist following the team to watch Team USA play.

More self made female billionaires than the rest of the world even without China. What happen to the so called oppressive nature of asian male culture, and the need for muh western feminism, white liberators, and human rights.
'''
Why do men rape and murder? What the fuck are men doing to fix rape culture?
I hate men. I hate men with the fire of a thousand suns for the evils you bring into this world... they say this bull crap of " not all men are rapists and murderers" well.... what are those non raping and murdering men doing about rape and murder in their gender?
Nothing.... so they are not men. They are complacent shits who will not change.
What are we going to do about crime, rape and murder amongst the male gender? I've had enough of living with this devolving gender. I'd rather we just die out as a species... males treat women like shit and I can't take it any more.
I hate the male gender. I hate you with the fire of a thousand suns. And if their is a hell. All men.... ALL MEN ARE IN HELL.

(Bonus Topic #2) Well, I'm sure you've all probably heard what our good friend & drunken alpha-female goalie Hope Solo said about the current state of soccer in the United States... She said that the reason our men's national teams have became more or less lackluster & average is because Soccer has became a "Rich, White-Kid Sport" - She then went onto say if she were a child growing up in 2018 her family her family would NOT be able to afford for her to play soccer.
β
What she's basically saying is that we've somehow gentrified soccer so bad - to the point that even lower middle class Americans would be hard pressed to fully commit/pursue with the intensity needed to create world class talent. Basically we're somehow shooting ourselves in the foot by pricing out all the potentially great talent out there.
