Hi everyone! I have just been thinking recently about the connection of our MBTI to the people who raised us, my dad is an INTJ I think, while my mum is an ISTP I think. I am an INFJ (I think, its complicated. Still figuring out my functions). What about you guys?
Sometimes I feel like I pity my parents for being the way that they are, since they couldn't control the environment they were raised in. Other times I don't, since I remember they are adults and capable of making better decisions.
Just curious to see how other schizoids may feel since childhood environment can play a factor in this disorder.

What an interesting insight, especially about failing to prepare the next generation to handle wealth...
I often read in the MDs the answer to the question "How were you raised to talk/think about money?" to be something like "We never talked about that, I'm self-taught" and I think that it is really very necessary to have financial literacy classes or training or some kind of passing on the knowledge to your children that is realistic, age-appropriate, and ongoing throughout their lives. Anyone here who has received this kind of financial preparation from their parents? Anyone who is thinking up ways to pass their knowledge and shape skills in their kids?
