A list of puns related to "The Sasquatch Gang"
Hi guys,
Planning an overnight trip out to the PA Wilds to take the Missus to go do some wood knocks and look for tracks.
Has anyone had any encounters that they would like to share? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to discuss on this thread.
I know it's weird guys. But we have fun exploring the unknown, and to be honest, it is great quality time together. Not looking to start a debate, just looking for info.
Thank you all.
It might make some people chuckle to specify that Iβm looking for a fiction title about Bigfoot, but what I mean is Iβm looking for a story, not an educational book about Cryptozoology or something by David Paulides...
Preferably in the horror context, or if not horror than suspense and mystery. Definitely not looking for a love letter to Bigfoot.
Whatcha got? π
https://www.facebook.com/WaStateArchives/posts/1241049736086504 - I hope this link works as it shows the actual documents, along with a charming statue of our dear Bigfoot.
In December 1970, a movement was βafootβ to get the Washington State Game Commission to classify the Sasquatch a game animal and therefore under the protection of the State Game Department. And whatβs more, the Northwest League for the Protection of the Sasquatch was also seeking federal regulation to save Bigfoot. The director of the League was Richard Lancefield, an assistant attorney general with the State Board Against Discrimination, who thought it was time somebody stood up for the rights of Sasquatch. βRecent reports indicate the encroachment of civilization threatens the continued existence of the Sasquatch,β said Lancefield. βOne danger, which we have not faced, is that how we might deal with the problem of a wounded Sasquatch in need of medical attention. We are concerned that a Sasquatch might die needlessly through no one individual, simply because there was no pre-arranged plan in existence for treating such a heavy and, possibly, unwilling patient.β
Legit criticism only please.
Steve may be making a Netflix documentary!

Please Note: As in a previous post, these particular clips were in my Dad's 'working' file, and as such, they don't have his usual 'attribution block'.
These clips were taken from The Windsor Star, Windsor, Ontario, Canada - Dated 13 Jan 1968 (As taken from the file names).
Caution: The last few paragraphs are...a bit off color. Very strange, I think, for a mostly straight-laced newspaper article.
Hey folks,
I'm an old guy, fairly set in my ways, and currently very frustrated. I use a fingertip grip. I rest my wrist on the edge of my desk, touch the mouse only with the tips of my fingers and do NOT use my elbow or shoulder when manipulating the mouse. As such 99.9% of the mice on the market are wrong for me:
- A big bump of plastic to rest my palm on is not only unnecessary it's in the way as it prevents backward motions (pulling the mouse toward me) by bumping into the heel of my hand.
- The thumb buttons are always too far forward making only the rear button comfortable to reach.
- Too heavy and often unbalanced. I currently have a Razer Atheris (which I despise) and, in addition to having slippery rubber "grips" on the side and an awkward shape that causes my thumb to constantly slide upwards off it, it's also very heavy in the ass-end because of the batteries which makes the thing very frustrating to use. It is a constant distraction.
- RGB. No. Just... no.
- Manufacturer bloatware. The last several mice I've had all came with these massive software packages (over a gigabyte of hard drive space) that required enormous amounts of on-demand resources. (Upwards of 500mb RAM for the Corsair and nearly 800mb for the Razer). They also crashed so often that restarting them was simply routine. Speaking as somebody with a clue I can also attest that this is a direct result of lazy, inefficient programming that emerges from the axiom, "machine time is less expensive than programmer time" (which is only true when it's someone else's machine btw) and, frankly, won't have that shit on my computer.
So... yeah. I'm getting frustrated. I've been looking and looking and have yet to find a mouse that even comes close to being what I'm looking for: Namely a mouse that was actually designed for a fingertip grip. Small and light enough to be gripped with just the tips of the fingers, with no big bumps of plastic to get in the way and, ideally, with the thumb buttons positioned so that they can be reached without repositioning my hand. I'd also prefer that it not require anything beyond a simple driver to function and, please, no RGB. It's a mouse not a disco ball.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
I'm making a point to watch as many Sasquatch/yeti based horror films as possible, but I haven't seen many.
So far I've seen:
Snowbeast - not a terribly good story, but the yeti suit they had is kind of cool - I suppose that's where the budget went.
Valley of the Sasquatch- similar story to Snowbeast, but with less snow and worse costumes. Also reusues some 'true' Sasquatch accounts , which is kind of cool.
What films would you recommend I watch next?
Note: These scans were in a folder marked "Working" in my Dad's scanned files...they don't have the usual "attribution box". I have added the attribution in the caption, taken from the file name. Thanks.
