A list of puns related to "The Pros And Cons Of Hitch Hiking"
Though the infographic is not directly on the topic of survival, your footwear is one of the most important things when in the outdoors. I hope that you'll find my infographic useful.

I'm about to upgrade from my S6 to the Note 9, I didn't go for the 10 because it doesn't have a headphone jack and I didn't go for the S10 because I love the S Pen. So, I'm imagining that the Note 9 is the last true Note.
I'm wondering what are the issues that stand out to those of you who's been using this phone as your main phone, and what are the things you love about it as well.
Thanks in advance for the answers.
I get that it can encourage spending and cause inflation, but what are some unintended or not so obvious benefits and side effects?
The Trump Administration recently unveiled a new merit-based immigration plan. It reshapes the immigration system and prioritizes people with high skills to get visas to legally enter the country.
It has had its proponents and critics alike. Nancy Pelosi has criticized it. CNN has called it "likely doomed". Some have said that it "is a step in the right direction."
I was wondering what the pros and cons would be to such a system. There are pundits on both sides, as always, but I would like to see what verifiable evidence there is to the pros and cons of such a system without all of the bias from both sides.
H.R.25 begins with "To promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national sales tax to be administered primarily by the States."
How would enacting a National Sales Tax accomplish those goals?
Is there any economic data to support the congressional findings under SEC. 2?
Are there real world examples of nation-states using a sales tax instead of income/payroll/estate/gift tax to generate revenue?
Is using the monthly poverty level, as described in SEC. 303, an accurate method of determining a limit to qualifying households?
Has there been a historical political movement to enact an NST?
Finally, what is the procedure for repealing an amendment to the US Constitution?

Pros - Creative, good at brainstorming
Cons - Easily distracted, need to read random wikipedia articles
Puppy tax of said smart bean, who I adore and is the light of my life.
Pros: super rewarding to train, picks up commands and tricks very quickly
Cons: also very quick to learn how to get you to do what she wants
Examples: which items to pick up/start chewing to get my attention. She will actively look for them and then bring them into the room Iβm in and start chewing them right in front of me (her favourites are my watch and my shoes) because she knows Iβll get up to take them away from her
how to open things. Doors if I donβt make sure the handle has fully clicked in, the recycling bin, the push lid kitchen bin...
what my alarm means/what time it goes off. The minute she hears it she jumps off the bed and goes to the door, if I donβt get up immediately sheβll jump onto the bed and onto my face to get me up. she also knows what time it goes off, so if itβs the weekend/my day off sheβll still wake me up around the same time by licking my face. No lie ins allowed in Posyβs world!
I think itβs better to receive cash as it gives me more flexibility with what I want to do with the money. But there are other implications that Iβm sure I havenβt considered.
Edit; So instead of getting paid $100 + super, I get $109.5 with no super, with sick days and holiday.
Iβm a veteran player with a 20+ month VIP4 account nearing a full E5 team but I recently joined a group of reddit folks on S1162 iOS to experience the early game again, see how the game has changed and to have fun with a new community of idlers. So far itβs been a blast.
Consistent with common early game strategy I decided to rush one of the top tier seal land heroes because the fodder hill to climb is so high when you are looking up from the bottom. The best choices are typically considered Horus, Penny, and Cthugha, with Valk and Garuda trailing behind based on how difficult SL forest is. Since horus and penny are generally considered the best and because Iβd gone the SL fortress route on my main I picked Horus. He also benefits from being available in the Brave Trial rewards while Cthug and Penny are not.
Our server started about a week before Xmas so it is now about 6 weeks old. Itβs worth mentioning that having the Xmas and CNY events has not made for a typical start to a new server because of the new addition of getting 6/9/10* puppets and generally how good these events have been. On the new acct Iβve purchased the diamond fund, 1 sr card, 2 regular cards, the early Vesa/fearless armor pack, and the CNY growth event pack. Iβm VIP 4 and plan to stay here. Between these crazy events and some insane luck in the Prophet Tree Iβve collected 9 (nine!) copies of Horus so far. Prioritizing fodder with gold and gems and resources available at Xmas Iβm up to an E2 Horus already and should be able to E3 him sometime in the 3rd month.
My Phoenix is still quite low but Iβm pretty happy with the PvE progress so far. Recently made it to Nightmare 1 in aspen dungeon and beat Seal Land 10 and very close to beating SL11. Horus is solid in broken spaces and Iβve been able to clear BS2 first month and BS3 2nd month. Doing well with the guild bosses too tho our guild has quite a few high VIP that are doing much better dmg so I havenβt been top3 much.
So all of that sounds great so far and generally speaking it is. BUT, Horus is almost unusable in early game PvP. The reason of course is Garuda. I consistently lose against teams with 9* Garuda, frequently in round 2. Garuda is just such a nasty counter to any team that goes with the current strategy of pushing a solo carry with all available resources because of how her active works. Typically all your random 5 and 6*s are dead in round 1/2 and all the feathers hit Horus (or whoever you are using) killing them. Ga

I know for myself I despised homework from a young age, though I enjoyed (mostly) all of my education in the classroom.
The arguments made the other way seem to suggest that students who work hard their whole education seem to come out with an advantage by example of many Asian countries, though if this is strictly based off standardized testing it makes me a little suspicious of the actual merit.
With most educations focusing on large quantities of work outside of school and performance on standardized testing, there is an opposite approach which empowers students with more free time and less rigid performance measure. What can anyone here add to this conversation? Is there an objective good for education in your view, or is there some relativism involved?
Good evening, all. (Or if you're reading this some other time, a very pleasant appropriate-time-of-day to you!)
I've been DMing for a few years now, since Fifth Edition launched. Not as long as some, true, but perhaps it's because of that very inexperience that I'm so curious about AD&D. A while back I happened upon the PHB, DMG and Monster Manual for AD&D 1st Edition at a local book store. Occasionally, I'll leaf through them and admire the history of the hobby, get a feel for the general tone of the game as it was back then, and try to glean a little wisdom from D&D's roots.
And over time, I've found myself getting more and more interested in either running or playing 1st edition. There are some reasons for this, probably more than I can list off the top of my head, but generally they boil down to... I just kind of, sometimes, get this feeling when reviewing 5th edition material. Like, wouldn't it be great to run a game where everybody and their mother didn't have darkvision and actually bothered to light a torch? Isn't it cool that old versions of spells like Haste have side-effects like aging you a year, giving real weight to using this powerful magic on an ally? Wouldn't it be awesome if we worried less about balance, and more about finding smart and courageous ways to survive an adventure? Stuff like that, I could go on. Don't even get me started on the mental gymnastics I did recently on why 5e's spellcasting rules work the way they do compared to good old vancian magic where a spell slot was just "the space your spell is stored in until it's used".
And going back through the 1e PHB, I also get another feeling. That while a lot of the same terms and classes are used, it is very much a different game system that plays by a similar, but different set of rules. So I have to wonder, and I guess this takes me to the crux of this post...
Is it worth getting a group together and learning/playing AD&D 1st Edition in the era of 5e? Or would I be better served by making a list of where I think 5e falls a little short compared to its roots and heavily house-ruling it to get it as close to the feel of 1e as possible? Because I do feel like, if I went with the latter route, there comes a time where you have to ask yourself "If I'm going to house-rule all this stuff, why not just play AD&D?" (And yes, I am rather aware that responses here are likely to be biased towards AD&D, but frankly you folks seemed like the most learned p

Note: If we could also compare and contrast different Raspberry Pi versions and models as well, that would be helpful.
I'm a Canadian who has visited Arizona a few times now and still can't really pinpoint anything about the local culture. As someone who is visiting again, what are some things I should know about staying in Arizona? What are the best and worst things about the state? (Edited to remove contentious focus on south identification! I can see it's a touchy subject.)
Also, I hate to ask, but: how bad is gun violence in Arizona, overall?
I really want to work in forensic science but I canβt decide whether or not field work or lab work suits me more. Any information on either types of work would really help me out, thanks.
Feel free to reply with Pros/cons as well, this is just a few things I thought about
Pros:
Cons:
Ethanol is a plant-derived alcohol that's used, among other things, as a biofuel.
In the United States, the government subsidizes the production of ethanol and mandates its mixture with gasoline to varying degrees.
Using ethanol in this way has its pros and cons, both environmentally and economically.
I'm interested in knowing how those pros and cons play into the policy decision to subsidize ethanol production and mandate its use.
Hello,
A couple of months ago I ported an old Delphi application to the web. It was the standard, classic, Windows desktop application, with windows to enter data, datatables, reports and so. It works, but I think that it's a bit clunky, as it's all server side renderer with Symfony 4 (PHP).
As an enhancement, I wanna port the frontend of this application to Javascript. I'm an experienced developer (more than 20 years programming), but I'm a novice with modern Javascript (I'm sorry, currently I only use jQuery... :P).
I've been doing some Angular and React tutorials, but these tutorials are very simple and easy, so I still don't know which of these frameworks is the more recommended for the kind of application I want to write. Can you help me to choose which framework to use?
Thank you! :)
Edit: Adding some detail from Yang's website for further discussion
"Andrew proposes funding the Freedom Dividend by consolidating some welfare programs and implementing a Value Added Tax of 10 percent."
"A Value Added Tax (VAT) is a tax on the production of goods or services a business produces. It is a fair tax and it makes it much harder for large corporations, who are experts at hiding profits and income, to avoid paying their fair share."
"By giving everyone the Freedom Dividend, the stigma for accepting cash transfers from the government disappears. Additionally, it removes the incentive for anyone to remain within certain income brackets to receive benefits. If itβs paid for by a Value-Added Tax as in Andrewβs plan, a wealthy person will likely pay more into the system than he or she gets out of it."
first of all i wanna start with when waiting for the faction wars i wasnt expecting campaign with extra steps. i dont know what but i was expecting something more war like. This isnt a faction war tbh. this is hero limited campaign.
it doesnt mean that the faction wars is bad tho. i liked it. the rewards are nice, i like that my beloved game is expanding. Anyway lets start listing.
PROS:
1- you learn about your heroes.
2- you can discover your vaulted gems.
3- good rewards.
4- new way to min max your heroes.
5- new kind of energy resource so it doesnt limit what we can do. Kudos!
CONS:
1- you expect us to use that much heroes but you dont give us more space?
2- you want us to customize and play with that many heroes but you dont make it easier/cheaper to gear them.
3-you want us to play with benched heroes, but its still a very hard grind to level them up, ascend and get them ready to fight.
4- you want us to change the heroes we play with everyday, but you dont make vault sortable by faction. i need to open index, look at what heroes i've unlocked so far from that faction and go to vault and look for them. sometimes i cant find the hero bcs i've already fed it to someone else or maybe the champ is there but i cant see it because of 110 other champions.
what do you think?
Making the playoffs is always good (obviously) but it was not all great for the Eagles. The Eagles essentially ran the table and made the playoffs for the third straight season which I think has not been done in the NFC East for a while. The Eagles season was a roller coaster a ton of ups and downs, so making the playoffs shows how tough this team is. All of us could not be more proud of the Eagles. Saying all of this leads me to say that the Eagles did not deserve to make the playoffs, the NFC East did not deserve to be represented in the playoffs. All four teams were not good. Getting in the playoffs is a double edge sword.
Pros:
β’ Shows the teams resilience
β’ Silences all the Doug haters
β’ made it over the Cowboys
There is only one con and that is, the offensive coaching staff gets to run a mediocre offense for at least another season. That was my biggest fear, making the playoffs and the Eagles keeping Groh and Walsh around. I made a post earlier saying that this would happen.
Another con (kinda), Wentz got hurt. Which he literally could not avoided if he tried, it was a dirty hit by Clowney. It feeds the narrative that Wentz is injury prone. But a freak injury and a dirty hit are not symptoms of an injury prone player. But he lead the team to the playoffs.
So My wife and and I are looking at getting a VR.
From al the reviews Iβve read, the Vive pro and cosmos seem to be the best picks.
Basically we want the VR that will give us access to the entire VR library on steam.
And from what Iβve read the Vive pro will do this as it has 360 degree tracking because of the external camera. Where as the cosmos only has 310 degree tracking.
If anyone can provide pros and cons for both models that would be swell
PS I assume both support wireless with the wireless adapter
Thank you
