First price drop. I picked this up a couple of weeks ago, and itβs still on sale. Iβm not sure how long the sale will last. There is a Blu-Ray release. I hope the digital version eventually gets an HD upgrade, like The Twilight Zone.
Not with the anthology format, but with the setting, atmosphere and themes?

There was an episode of an Outer Limits (remake)-like series where an engineer is woken up from cryosleep by an Eloi-like future culture to stop an ELE asteroid impact by jury-rigging old (to them) defense systems. He finally does and "saves" the Earth but discovers all is not as it seems...
Driving me mad! Help?!
Human beings are naturally sceintists. This I learned from the top sceintists of human civilization: Prof. Dawkins, Prof. Degrasse, Prof. Newton, etc. Every night I'd peek at the vast reaches of outer space with my telescope. Except this time, I saw some flashing lights in outer space. I don't believe in aliens... or so I thought. When I awoke aboard their mothership, I saw them clearly: outer galactic skellingtons with no heads!!! They started dissecting me which rly sucked. Then their heads spun around spookily!
Yes, that's how I recall it happened... 50 years ago... WHEN I WAS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAH HA H AHHAHAH!!!! BOO!
Like the title says. I remember seeing this episode as a younger child, possibly around 10 years old and I believe it was on the sci-fi fi network. One particular scene I remember was that the people were warping through the walls in her home to get her. When she wakes up your realize the people she was being harassed by and trying to kidnap her were her doctors trying to get her out of her coma. When she realizes everything, she steals a syringe and puts herself back in the coma permanently because she preferred the perfect life in her head than reality.
I often find myself becoming part of small groups and communities and I typically end up on the edges of those communities and eventually back outside of them.
The common denominator, of course, is me. I am the weirdo of weirdos. I am pleasant until some unpleasant moment where I make someone angry or uncomfortable because I am aberrant in some way.
Or. I don't know what I want from people.
Bloop.
So I don't remember much of this episode, but the premise was similar to The Purge where society endorses murder, but in this version there are 2 targets who have their faces broadcast to the public on large billboard sized tv screens. The targets in the episode were a man and a woman. The only other detail I remember is that cars were identical and had barcodes instead of license plates. Cars were socialized in that you could just go to a car station, hop in and drive off. There was no key, a knob instead for ignition.
Hi, I just picked up one of this and have no clue what this might be worth. Found two Worthpoint listings:
https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/outer-limits-promo-item-hands-holding-405241556
https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/outer-limits-tv-original-promotional-540934887
But those listings are a bit old.
Any thoughts?
Who here wants a OL remake/reboot? I'd kill for some good heavy scifi plots.
Went back to Whistler for five days of snowboarding. Travelled from Nova Scotia. Outer limits is by far my favourite run and this was my fastest time going down. Watch or skip until the end for the most impressive footage and tightest trees!! ....in 4K.
