Irish Connections in the British Monarchy

If the Tudors are descendants of Llewelyn the Great, that means the modern British monarchs are the senior descendants of the English, Scottish and Welsh monarchies. Are there any connections to any of the Irish royal houses throughout history?

Irish country girl seeking a connection with civilization!

Hi everyone, I'm half Irish and half Welsh, 23 in November, and I live in rural Ireland. I'd love to hear about life in other countries.

You can be anyone at all, 9 or 99 years old.

I am interested in many topics, mostly relating to botany, anthropology, engineering, physics, languages and history. I have been an unintentional hermit for a short few years after doing a lot of modelling and acting in the cities. I had no electricity when I was living with my dad for a long time so I also have a lot of experience in foraging and working with my hands. Having lived a varied life so far - I'd love to hear about yours, and about the lessons and conclusions it has brought to you.

Love cooking and making music, illustrations, pigments, recipes, glass engraving, metal work, woodwork, bookbinding and pretty much any hobbies I can make or find the tools for. I'd love suggestions of traditional techniques and methods from around the globe!

I somehow ended up a begrudgingly traditional sort of healer (which is purely scientific and chemical in nature so please don't expect a 'guru' or any kind of mysticism unless we can have an enthusiastic argument about it) and I value community care above all else - if you work for a group or organisation that would like letters for children or the elderly I'd love to contribute to this also.

Mostly I am curious and would love to hear perspectives and thoughts from people exposed to entirely different worlds.

In conclusion: please send an auld message to this little Irish recluse because I'd love a snail-mail penpal eventually. I can remotely help you get rid of your warts and things, or we can just share jokes and stories if you need a calm friend to listen to you. I'm up for anything.

I like people that are cheeky enough for two arses, and who know how to tell a good joke!

US looking for Filipino and Irish snacks to connect to my roots.

I am half Filipino and half Irish. I probably won't be able to visit either of these places in the foreseeable future. I was hoping to get a small taste of traditional bought or homemade snacks (or even your favorite recipes). I can offer any of your favorite US snack or I can send a collection of my personal favorites. I have my own FedEx shipping account to pay for your shipping to the US. I can help with customs documents as well.

Noel Gallagher - who told Remainers to "f*cking get over" Brexit or "move to North Korea" if they didn't like it - applied for Irish citizenship after UK voted to leave the EU in 2016

The Oasis frontman has previously claimed it was undemocratic to stop Brexit, having previously told Remain voters to "f*cking get over it", or to "move to North Korea" if they are against the vote.

Gallagher is eligible for EU citizenship due to his Irish-born parents, and has now revealed he made the move to secure an Irish passport as soon as the UK voted for Brexit.

"I applied immediately after the vote," the 52-year-old has said.
