A list of puns related to "The Huntingtons"
Iβve been to a ton of comedy shows but donβt think Iβve ever been to anything like this lol Tim took the roof off the place. Canβt wait for the next time.
Iβm under 20 years old. I havenβt been tested for Huntingtonβs disease (but will soon) but I think I have it. I have ticks a lot, and have had five separate seizures from when I was 10-12. My motherβs mental βclarityβ has been seeming deteriorating over the years (which may be an indication that she has it as well), and I suffer many of the symptoms of HD such as lack of organization and focus, ticks, semi-involuntary movement, delirium, etc. Assuming I have it, I donβt want to die a horrible death while also losing my mind and sanity. What are the chances that a treatment that may or may not decelerate symptoms arises within the next few decades?
,The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion [...] but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do."
(Samuel P. Huntington, The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order)
Had to hang out in a town in eastern CT while my FIL had eye surgery and went to Dickβs to waste time after I watched my daughter blow half of her Christmas money on anime stuff. Tried out every putter they had, and kept coming back to this one. Loved the 2021 Anser, but this one just felt right. My daughter agreed too. The blade Cleveland just felt like my OG Anser. Also, I still donβt like Odyssey putters. Iβve had one for 10 years and only used it twice (white ice 2 ball) and even the newer ones I canβt get into. Friends and family love the one I have, I just canβt get into it. Time to sell it.
I do not understand why so many people think the abductor was someone she knew. What evidence points towards that being the case? For example, let's suppose for a moment it was a co-worker or really anyone who lived anywhere but Mosaic at Millenia, which is where Jennifer Kesse lived. If he/she went to her condo complex to abduct her, why would he/she care about moving her car? Did they walk to Mosaic at Millenia to abduct Jennifer Kesse?
I am trying to understand why people think what they do about this case. If it was someone Jennifer Kesse knew, and if that is the same person as on the Huntington on the Green surveillance video, I think that person has to be feeling a big sigh of relief knowing that even with a personal connection to Jennifer Kesse no one recognizes them from the video.
Who is the person on the HOTG surveillance video seen parking and walking away from Jennifer Kesse's 2004 Chevy Malibu?
THESE FILES ARE STILL SUPPORTED BY THE HUNTINGTON, AND THE CC DOWNLOAD CAN BE FOUND ON HER PATREON.
THESE FILES HAVE BEEN DELETED OFF OF HER PATREON AND THE CC DOWNLOAD IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE, BUT WE ARE OFFERING THE TRAY FILES TO DOWNLOAD IN CASE YOU WANT TO DO THE WORK AND FIND THE CC TO DOWNLOAD YOURSELF.
I've contacted many providers, and all of them have denied me the right to know my own condition until I dance like a monkey for them and show up to multiple genetic counseling appointments. As I'm sure you are all aware, this is completely ridiculous. No one would deny you the right to know whether you have an incurable brain cancer. If I just keep going to GPS until one is willing to order the test, will they be able to? I see that there is a genetic test for Huntington's on labcorp.com that providers are able to order.
At the time of her death in 1968, Anita Louise Piteau was 26 years old.
In July 2020, police identified Anita as the Huntington Beach Jane Doe, whose body was found in Orange County, California five decades earlier.
Born on March 9, 1942, Anita Louise Piteau grew up in Augusta, Maine as one of seven siblings. Family members like her niece Laurie remember Anita as a bubbly young woman who was βalways very fun and happy.β Anita was also fashionable, styling her dark hair in glamorous curls like a Hollywood starlet, adorning herself in bold costume jewelry, and sporting pants, which had only recently become widely acceptable for women following World War II.
As Anita grew into her teens and early 20s, America was flourishing thanks to the post-war economic boom, which not only brought financial prosperity but newfound independence for young women like Anita. Perhaps enthralled by Californiaβs allure of starlets, surfers, and the thriving hippie counterculture, Anita set out to explore the state in 1967. The then-25-year-old embarked on this cross-country trip with friends, and spent just shy of a year in search of what she hoped would be a better life.
Anita clearly loved and missed her family back in Maine, as she wrote to them often. In her last letter to them, postmarked February 19, 1968, Anita gushed about visiting Hollywood and taking a tour of starsβ homes. Although she had recently found work as a waitress, life in California may not have been all Anita hoped it would be, as she let her family know she was planning to return home in a few months in May.
Sadly, Anita would never make the trip back to the East Coast alive. On March 14, 1968, just days after her 26th birthday, the body that would eventually be identified as Anita was found in a drainage ditch near a Huntington Beach farm field south of Los Angeles.
After letters from Anita stopped coming and she failed to return home in May, her family knew something horrible must have happened to her but had no means to go to California themselves. Still, they continued to search for her for decades, frequently checking with the American Red Cross, the U.S. Social Security Administration and police in Whittier, California.
After five decades as a Jane Doe, investigators used genetic genealogy to not only identify Anita, but her killer as well, who was found to have died of cancer in 2015 before justice could be served.
In 2020, Anita was finally returned to her family and buried in Waterv
