Monthly CAMP Contest Returns! January's theme: The House That Rock Built (Prizes and stuff!)

Greetings my fellow filthy survivors!

It's a new month, which means time for another CAMP-building contest! But first, let's take a look at last month's winners!

Thanks again to everyone who entered! I pretty much had to re-do my judging criteria with how close the competition was.

That brings us to this month's contest. If you listen closely you can still hear the echoes of New Year's parties ringing out across Appalachia, and it has inspired me. That's why this month's theme is a bit more musical: The House That Rock Built.

Fallout as a series has had some really great music, and this month we'll be paying tribute to that. Your entries for this month must be based on one song from anywhere* in the Fallout series. From the saga of Butcher Pete to the sadness of Maybe, you've got a lot to choose from.

(And for the sake of it, I'm including this video where the Unraveled guy reinvents ska for the Fallout universe, because I have wanted to build a Brotherhood of Brass CAMP for ages)

\"just waaatchin' the bubbles in my beer...\"

So, it's time to bust out those instruments and your dancing shoes. But as usual, the theme is open to interpretation, so go nuts!

THE RULES

  • You have to build a new CAMP (purely honor system here, I don't know how long you've lived there)
  • You have to stick to the theme (see below)
  • You have to post a screenshot, an imgur gallery, a youtube video, something that actually shows it off, in this thread
  • You have to do these things before the 24th of the month!

Lars Von Trier's 'The House That Jack Built': First Reactions From Cannes

From Hollywood Reporter:

-"I’ve never seen anything like this at a film festival. More than 100 people have walked out of Lars von Trier’s β€˜The House That Jack Built,’ which depicts the mutilation of women and children. β€œIt’s disgusting,” one woman said on her way out."

-"Just left Lars Von Trier's The House that Jack Built. Gross. Pretentious. Vomitive. Torturous. Pathetic"

-"Walked out on Lars von Trier . Vile movie. Should not have been made. Actors culpable"

-"I've just walked out of Lars Von Trier premiere at Cannes 2018 because seeing children being shot and killed is not art or entertainment."

That's one way to get buzz at Cannes I guess. What were these people expecting from a Lars Von Trier serial killer movie though?
