When my mom kicked me out at 17 I never thought I’d be able to support myself and go to school. I’m now 22, got associate’s of arts in December and today I got my acceptance letter to my dream school. The years of struggling have paid off.

my state has a governor's school for the arts program. i auditioned a year ago for the orchestral part in the instrumental music branch, got waitlisted, and i tried again this year. i got in this time and i have never been so proud of myself! :)
