A list of puns related to "The Gtos"
On this late Thursday night, I am reflecting on the improvement that muscle cars saw as the 2010's begun. The Camaro came back, a far better performer than before, the Mustang got the the coyote in 2011, and Dodge muscle was truly reintroduced.
The 5th gen GTO was a bargain. At a similar price to the Mustang GT, it performed just a notch higher. It loses to the narrowly higher priced 3rd gen Challenger.
If Pontiac had lived past 2009, I can only imagine how the GTO could have improved with facelifts, additional trims, one off versions, and a generally longer lifespan.
What do you imagine the future of the GTO would have been, either realistically or ideally?
-I obviously know that the GTO is a Holden Monaro-
Happy new year, everybody! Here's hoping that this year will be a better one, given the times we're in.
I've decided to hold off on collecting some series and sell a few others, because other priorities in life are getting in the way. I aim to slowly add other tiles as I re-evaluate my collection and decide what to keep.
Most books are in great shape, unless stated otherwise. You'll see both Canadian and USD pricing beside each item, but buyers will be billed in Canadian dollars on their PayPal invoices - the listed USD price is provided as a reference. PayPal will automatically convery your USD to CAD upon payment.

Hey!
THe Lussuoso, or the Ferrari 288 GTO, is a beautiful car from the past that is rarely mentioned. It is overshadowed by other awesome cars such as the Ferrari F40 and the Testarossa. I've decided to show it some love and make it for Jailbreak!
The Model has 2,447 faces and i'm really happy with how it turned out. This is going straight into my top 5 favorites.
That's about it, make sure to upvote if you'd like to see this beauty in game some day!

I know that this was made to set the story in the period where the manga started being published (2014), but I find it funny, because the series had referenceres to real world products/games/movies of the period of time it was being published.
In the original manga, they appeared playing Resident Evil Code Veronica in a Dreamcast or playing Tekken 3 in arcade machines. There is another scene where Onizuka is quite excited because he was able to get a newly released PS2.
And then, 2 years later, they have smartphones, tablets and they appear using social networks like instagram.
Even though the series started being published in 2014, the new chapters seems to be set as well in recent years like 2019.
Just spent 2 days watching the hustler high stakes poker stream with Durr, Ivey, GMan Matt B and a bunch of others and none of the play was anything near what they show in any of the teaching material. That game was pretty nuts and ranges looked more like a 1/2 at my local casino with a shit load of limping and flat calling regardless of position. VPIP for some players was at 60%+.
Pretty sure if everyone played ABC poker Garrett would have crushed but as it was he was down a fair bit and got in a lot of bad spots.
Might spend next few sessions playing like a drunken dgen and see how that goes.
Specifically NLHE. This could include books, websites, youtube videos, any and all.
I want to start studying hard!
Thanks in advance!
I hear it referenced all the time on r/poker but seems that most resources are paywalled. I want to learn but not enough to spend money.
Hey everyone! There seems to be a lot of confusion in general about bluffing/calling the river with hands that block the missed flush draw. So I'll share some ideas that I've gleaned from looking at various solver outputs--specifically in the triple barrel lines.
1. When triple barreling as the aggressor, we (usually) don't want to block the missed flushdraw.
This is the one that most people are familiar with. The defender is calling twice with lots of flushdraws, most of which are folding the river. Blocking these hands decreases our opponent's folding frequency, which is bad when we are bluffing.
That said, this is not a hard and fast rule. Solvers don't mind bluffing the river with low flushdraws sometimes, in spots where our opponent mostly has high flushdraws. This often happens when the defender is out of position and facing a large overbet on the turn.
2. As the caller facing a 3 barrel, we (usually) prefer having a flushdraw blocker.
This follows logically from (1). It is somewhat opponent dependent though: if your opponent is bad enough to bluff with most of his missed flushdraws, then it can certainly be bad to have the blocker. But it's safe to say that most good players should be giving up the majority of their missed flushdraws, making it good to have the flush blocker.
As with (1), the rank of the flush blocker matters as well. The nut blocker usually adds more EV to your bluffcatcher, because from the aggressor's perspective, the nut flushdraw is the hand that blocks the most folds. Whereas a low flush blocker might be neutral or even -EV.
As a final note, remember that frequency is always more important than blocker effects. If you're facing a 3x pot overbet, having bottom pair with an Ad kicker is not an excuse to mash call when diamonds miss. Yes your hand will probably be close to 0EV in theory, but you lose a ton of EV in practice if villain isn't bluffing enough. Overall calling/bluffing frequency > blockers always.

Paradox of the Flush Draw Blocker (3min)
I got horizon 5 on launch day and just found the 250 GTO two days ago, I've been playing for multiple hours every day, racing and driving around racking up skill points. I've been gained 60 levels. But over these two days the 250 GTO still have finished restoring. Does anyone have an estimate on how long this will take?
