A list of puns related to "The Game Of Logic"
I remember as a kid playing King's Quest V and there was this point where you, as Graham, had to get past a yeti. I don't remember all the details, but I think you had items in your inventory like sticks, stones and rope, that seem logical to try to get past the yeti, but none of them worked. Thankfully, my dad had the solution book and, after looking it up and determining me and my brother could never guess the answer, he revealed that we had to throw a pie at the yeti. I will never forget that moment. We were all like, "huh?"
The real kicker is that if you ate the pie at any point and saved your game, you'd have wasted your time and have no way to advance since that was the only way to defeat the yeti. And there is also a point in the game where Graham gets hungry and you have to eat something. If you eat the pie instead of something else, you're screwed.
What are your favorite "moon logic" moments in video games, whether they be adventure puzzle games or anything else?
edit: I started to go down a rabbit hole on this. Here is a video of some examples that was pretty good and includes my pie/yeti example, which is the first one shown: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RoZU8jIqUo
Article 1: Marijuana may never become illegal on this subreddit during this game. Article 2: The subreddit views the following definitions and statements as true: Geometric mean: The value of x in proportion a/x = x/b where a, b, and x are positive numbers (x is the geometric mean between a and b) Sine, sin: For an acute angle of a right triangle, the ratio of the side opposite the angle to the measure of the hypotenuse. (opp/hyp) Cosine, cos: For an acute angle of a right triangle the ratio of the side adjacent to the angle to the measure of the hypotenuse. (adj/hyp) Tangent, tan: For an acute angle of a right triangle, the ratio of the side opposite to the angle to the measure of the side adjacent (opp/adj) Complementary Angles: Two angles whose measures have a sum of 90o Supplementary Angles: Two angles whose measures have a sum of 180 degrees. Theorem: A statement that can be proven Vertical Angles: Two angles formed by intersecting lines and facing in the opposite direction Transversal: A line that intersects two lines in the same plane at different points Corresponding angles: Pairs of angles formed by two lines and a transversal that make an F pattern Same-side interior angles: Pairs of angles formed by two lines and a transversal that make a C pattern Alternate interior angles: Pairs of angles formed by two lines and a transversal that make a Z pattern Congruent triangles: Triangles in which corresponding parts (sides and angles) are equal in measure Similar triangles: Triangles in which corresponding angles are equal in measure and corresponding sides are in proportion (ratios equal) Angle bisector: A ray that begins at the vertex of an angle and divides the angle into two angles of equal measure Segment bisector: A ray, line or segment that divides a segment into two parts of equal measure Legs of an isosceles triangle: The sides of equal measure in an isosceles triangle Base of an isosceles triangle: The third side of an isosceles triangle Equiangular: Having angles that are all equal in measure Perpendicular bisector: A line that bisects a segment and is perpendicular to it Altitude A segment from a vertex of a triangle perpendicular to the line containing the opposite side Article 3: The subreddit recognizes the following statements, properties, postulates, and theorems as true. For every number a, a = a. For all numbers a & b, if a = b, then b = a. For all numbers a, b & c, if a = b & b = c, then a = c. For all numbers a, b, &a

Arya teleporting out of nowhere -- I'm okay with her killing Night King, but no one can justify that she was too quick and managed to evade hundreds of wights to get to NK. Half an hour earlier she could barely evade the wights in the library and Beric had to sacrifice his life, so she could escape.
The war strategy -- Winterfell army had the smartest strategists of Westeros (eg., Tyrios, Varys, Jorah, etc.), but they had the entire hoard of Dothraki calvary charging into the night to be slaughtered and had the trebuchets the first line of defense?! That's not how cavalry and trebuchets work.
Consistency of wights -- the zombies attacking the castle were rabid and wild, but the wights in the library that Arya were the typical slow and horror movie-like (to make it seem like a horror scene). This doesn't make sense.
(Not me, but most people) Jon not facing Night King -- this would be like Harry Potter not facing Voldemort in the final battle and just have Hermione or Luna fight instead and kill him.
Armors don't work -- a piece of wood pierced through Theon and Jorah's armor didn't protect him when it faced a pointy thing.
Tried too hard to fool audience that some of the main characters (Brienne, Tormund, Jamie, Podric, Gendry, etc.) were about to die when they were surrounded by about 7 wights each. This would have worked had it been done once only, but the writers did this like 3-5 times for each. This disrespectfully undermined the audience intelligence for some cheap shot to keep their emotions high.
I've transcribed the best and IMO the most relevant part of the criticism and I'm going to copypaste it as a reply to everyone who says "gAmE oF ThROnEs wAs NeVEr AbOuT IcE zOMbiEs, iT wAS aLWayS aBoUT tHE ThROne".
>Do you realize, what you've done, what you just did? You fucking worthless writers, you've just destroyed root and stem what the entire fucking point of this entire fucking show was. We survived season 4 episode 10's complete Tyrion fuck-up. We survived season 5's Dorne plot, aw-fuck-it-we-will-just-say-we-survived-season-5-as-a-whole, we survived season 6's complete waste of the Blackfish, we even survived season 7's insane teleporting characters and the absolute obliteration of Littlefinger and Coldhands,

Last week, it seemed like the Vanu were just steamrolling every single base and objective, and they basically had 100% control of all the continents consistently for the entire week.
I log in tonight, and the NC are just obliterating everyone. The populations all show even when this is happening, so I'm confused as to the cause. Is there some deeper meta at work here, or is it totally random and just seems to follow a pattern? It seems like sometimes a certain faction just goes on a tear and dominates the server for days or weeks at a time.
Does anyone have tips on reducing time spent in logic games? I get most of them right every time but itβs taking me about double the time allocated for one game..
Like I know thereβs roughly 23 questions but what about actual setups? Thereβs only like 4 games per lsat right? Unless thereβs an experimental section?
I've been trying to get better and MK and fighting games in general. I started the game trying to learn an honest character as well possible so I wouldn't develop any bad habits as I progressed...
I've been playing Kitana pretty much since launch and I've been doing alright online but it's really frustrating fighting characters like Sonya and Cassie who seem like they can do everything Kitana can do but better while having much more in their kits...
So... why hasn't NS done anything to make middle-grade characters like Kitana have more apparent strengths and give characters like D'vorah and the Khans any reasonable viability at all? It's been long enough that it I figured there would've been some tweaks to put things in better order but is there something I'm missing that would or has NS actually addressed these issues?
