A list of puns related to "The Cosby Mysteries"
Ladies and gentlemen I call this the bill Cosby theory. I suspect that Uzi will drop a music video with his latest single and it will be the lead single for LUV Is Rage 3. Now I think that Luv Is Rage 3 will drop sometime November. Forever young will be a album to see what song will pop off and be the lead song for luv is rage 3 like they did with LUV is rage 2. Shortly after the song starts blowing up mainstream Uzi will announce luv is rage 3

Bill Cosby drugged women and then raped them. Cardi B had sex with men who were willing to fuck her then drugged and robbed them. Cardi B is still awful but she committed robbery and he committed rape. I think most people would agree that rape is a worse crime than robbery. Cheers thx
For context I have The Cosby Show on my Plex server. Sometimes it comes up on shuffle and occasionally im too occupied with something else to skip it, so ive caught a few episodes here and there. But I was negative two years old when it premiered, and by the time we got cable i dont think it was on Nick@Nite much before that was its own network. And sometimes i can separate the art from the artist, thats a whole debate i dont want to get into, but this one is seems a little much now with all the aggravated indecent assault convictions, but back then...
Anybody ever say anything about Dr Huxtable running an OBGYN practice in his basement?
Like... even absent the Cosby, in modern context thats all kinds of crazy red flags to me. Ladies? Would you ever go to a male OBGYN who ran a practice out of his home? No matter how friendly his sweaters?
Im actually familiar with his Spanish fly comedy bit from when i was a kid cuz my dad has some of his old records, but i hear theres a BBQ sauce episode in that vein thats also super creepy in hindsight? Obviously it was played for laughs, but was it creepy at all before "Cosby" became a verb for drugging and raping women?
IDK the extent of his writing credits on the show exactly, but Cosby obviously had a lot of input and now that theyre known, his proclivities kinda show sometimes. Besides Tarantinos foot thing, and Jon Favreaus Scarlett Johansson thing, any other creatives whos kinks are apparent in their work? Theyre on my list, but i havent gotten to Kung Fu/The Legend Continues yet, any autoerotic asphyxiation subplots?
Title says it all. Cardi B is a criminal for drugging and robbing men while she was a stripper. It was wrong, and she should be punished. The drugging alone is bad enough.
But Bill Cosby drugged and raped dozens of people for decades. Rape isnβt even in the same league of crime as robbery.
Here are two common arguments Iβve heard:
Male celebrities commit violence against women all the time with little to no repercussions. Hell, Cosby had accusers for decades before being charged. Remember when Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna and it was just a hiccup? What about when Dre beat Dee Barnes, NWA members said that the βbitch had it coming,β and he got probation? This happened in the early 1990s, and I bet many people have never heard of it, so obviously it didnβt hurt his career. Remember when R. Kellyβs abuse of teen girls was an βopen secretβ for years, and heβs just now being punished?
If Cardi had sexually assaulted somebody, we might be having a different conversation. Then her career might actually be over, or at the very least there would be a double standard to call out. (Granted, only in recent years has a sexual assault meant the end of a male celebrityβs career.)
Bill Cosby got away with being a serial rapist for decades before finally facing charges. This video of Cardi B resurfaced a week ago. Letβs wait and see.
This Cardi B-Bill Cosby comparison has been very popular on Reddit recently. Why do I think this is? I think Reddit, especially itβs most active users, are mostly young and male. I think many young men feel personally threatened by our changing norms regarding sexual assault. Itβs not that all these young men are rapists, but as you can see on Reddit, they are worried about false accusations and feel like men are treated as the enemy. (I know not all young men feel this way, but itβs a popular viewpoint on Reddit.)
The idea that a famous woman did something just as bad as a famous manβand that sheβs getting away with itβappeals to many of these young men. But thatβs just not a fair assessment of the Bill Cosby and Cardi B crimes. In fact, when you try to compare robbery with sexual assault, it demonstrates that you donβt understand sexual assault.
Basically I'm looking for a sitcom to watch to decompress after work, because all of these are either no longer on Netflix or I've been watching so much I'm starting to truly hate all of the characters. Bonus points if it's available on Netflix or included with Amazon Prime in the US
The proof was in the pudding
And no, I am not just saying this because sheβs a woman but look at this beyond the surface level. Cardi B was obviously wrong. She lured men who thought they were gonna have a βgood timeβ with her so she could drug and rob them. It was quite fucked up. However the key difference between her and sexual predators like Bill Cosby is the fact the he raped these women. Like it or not there is a major moral difference between stealing a couple hundred bucks and rape. One problem can be remedied by a week of work, the other can have life long effects. If she was drugging these men to fuck them, yeah-sheβd be a female Bill Cosby but she didnβt. Lets not let our obsession with βcalling out double standardsβ make us lose the plot.
