Giulio Cesare (Italian for Julius Caesar), motto Caesar Adest was a Conte di Cavour-class battleship that served in the Regia Marina in both World Wars before joining the Soviet Navy as the Novorossiysk.
Her keel was laid down on 24 June 1910 at Cantieri Ansaldo, Genoa. She was launched 15 October 1911, and construction was completed 14 May 1914.
In 1948, Giulio Cesare was ceded to the Soviet Union as compensation for war damages.
The Soviet Navy recommissioned the battleship as the Novorossiysk (ΠΠΎΠ²ΠΎΡΠΎΡΡΠΈΠΉΡΠΊ). Novorossiysk was based at Sevastopol since July 1949, serving as a flagship of the Black Sea Fleet and later as a gunnery training vessel. On 29 October 1955, the Novorossiysk was moored in Sevastopol Bay, 300 meters (1,000 feet) off the shore in front of the Naval Hospital. At 01:30, an explosion estimated to be the equivalent of 1,200 kilograms of TNT under the bow of the ship pierced all decks from the bottom plating to the forecastle deck. In the forecastle deck there was a hole which measured 14Γ4 meters in size. The damage area extended 22 meters from the bow to the aft.
The ship sank slowly from the bow, capsizing at 04:15, 2 hours and 45 minutes after the explosion, and disappeared beneath the waves 18 hours later. The capsizing resulted in the death of 608 sailors, most of whom were staying in the ship's compartments. It became the worst disaster in Soviet naval history. Because of the politics of the Cold War, the fate of the Novorossiysk remained clouded in mystery until the late 1980s.
The cause of the explosion is still unclear. The officially named cause, regarded as most probable, is a magnetic RMH naval mine, laid by the Germans during World War II. During the next two years after the disaster, divers found 19 German mines on the bottom of Sevastopol Bay. Eleven of the mines were as powerful as the estimated blast under Novorossiysk.
There is, however, some doubt that the blast was caused by a mine. The area where Novorossiysk sank was considered swept of mines, and other ships had used the area without triggering the mine. Some experts estimate the maximum battery life of the magnetic mines as 9 years, and thus contend that such a mine would unlikely to trigger at the time of explosion. Another problem some experts claim is that the size of the crater (1 β 2.1 m deep) was too small for such a big mine. On the other hand, according to some research, damage to the ship corresponds to an explosion equivalent to 5,000 kilogram

I actually got into Avenged Sevenfold back when Origins dropped and Shepard of Fire played during the intro. Theyβve become one of my all time favorite bands and I had been asking for Treyarch to put some of the band members in the game since Blackout was released. Seeing Matt in that interview talking about games and black ops 4 felt so wholesome. Itβs nice seeing someone you look up to share the same passion over something. I see a lot of people saying that Queen was the best band ever, but some of their most popular songs have some of the worst messages. "Don't Stop Me Now," for example, is all about doing drugs and having sex all the time no matter the consequences. Metallica's "Master of Puppets" is also about doing drugs, but it is about the consequences. Metallica shows the dark side of things.
Edit: I didn't even mention modern music which is entirely about either relationships, drugs, money, sex, or any number of terrible things.
Edit 2: I will acknowledge the reason why they are seen as edgy and satanic is due to bands like Slayer who are actually satanic. People listen to one metal song by a band like Slayer and assume that all metal is like that.
Edit 3: I have just been informed that Slayer is not satanic. I apologize to all Slayer fans. I also will admit that A7X has some edgy songs, but they aren't anywhere near as bad most of the time.

I just want to share my session today,
we're in a campaign nearing its end, and have been fighting some final bosses, death has been near in every encounter but we always managed to slip off and defeat without deaths. No one has lost his character since joining the game, except for a player who left the game and his character seemingly activated a trap and died.
I've joined when the campaign was around half and my character though starting as a level 5 fighter was more like a level 1 "lorewise" and he idolized the party Paladin.
Some things made it easier to follow that lore, because if we fought an hydra I could take myself one head alone, then the Paladin came and takes two.
Another boss attacked the paladin with a big hit but rolling the dice it went below average and let him almost dead, but still alive, so my fighter put himself in the middle and tanked the next hit, was exactly the same but I went unconscious. The next thing my fighter knew is that the Paladin managed to kill the monster and healed him bringing him back to life.
And so on. My character has been building up his personality from low self-steem to high but always has had with this paladin a role model.
In the setting of our world - homebrew - there was an ancient creature, like a mix of a demon and a dragon that wreak havoc to the world and somehow was sealed inside two spheres. Today we were arriving at the second one while other faction forces were also arriving, and so, we fought with the leader of our enemies, a Woman Wizard with two wizard acolytes. She was till now the strongest enemy we had faced.
While I killed one of the minions and the paladin directly went to the BBEG and our wizard casted some fireball, the BBEG casted an spell that stop the time, had three turns to move away from us, cast fly into herself, and cast desintegrate aiming our paladin, the master throwed the dice publicly and got a 73.
I asked the master to use my reaction to intervene and get hit by the attack instead of the paladin, I did this some other times protecting him from fireballs and some stuff like it but the master did not allow me because time was frozen so I could not have any reaction. Fair point.
Even with the time frozen, the paladin had the chance to survive by making a dex saving throw, however, failed short of 1 point (got 16 after bonuses, needed 17), and so, time was restored and our paladin was reduced to ashes, leaving only some of his belongings which were magic, in
