My internet searches are giving me a vibe that Sunnis agree with Shias that Yazid was a terrible tyrant, and not a legitimate leader, yet somehow Imam Hussein was wrong to oppose him. Does that sound right? I want to hear from Sunnis themselves. I realize this may be a can of worms, but I have faith in you, Reddit people!
I'm in Karbala right now with my family. I still can't believe I'm actually here. I expected myself to cry to the point of hyperventilating or passing out. Why hasn't this happened? Has my soul turned black? Also, if anyone wants me to I will pray for them or they're loved ones at the Haram, I will at the grave site. I just need a list of names to pray for. We also did do ziyara for those who haven't been here yet that really want to come. I hope you all get to come here soon, inshallah. I'm also a bit scared of being hear. I thought I heard some loud bangs before but I'm hoping I'm wrong.
P.s.- I hope I'm not hurting anyone here. I'm not here to rub it in anyone's face that I'm here. I'm just venting and wanted to see if anyone wants me to pray for them at the Haram.
