I will be in this area this week. Suggestions of things to do and see?

I have a lot of experience as an ESL teacher in China, as well as a 150-hr TEFL!

Is this salary considered good for this particular area?

Also, is this a good area to begin with?

I've received two teaching offers, one in Phetchaburi (Mueang District) and the other in NST. The offered salary has been 36k for both, which research has told me is on the higher side of the norm (30k-35k). After teaching in China, the salary is very unappealing... but Thai culture seems to make up for it!

Some more details: I'd be teaching kindergarten in NST and elementary school (English + science) in Phetchaburi. One of the schools is a Christian school, while the other is secular.

I'd love to hear about your experiences working and living in both of these cities:

• NST seems to be a bit more expensive, is that the case?

• How much can I expect to send on a monthly basis?

• Where are the apartments/food the nicest?

• Where you would say the expat culture is the best?

Never been, fancy checking it out sometime, anyone been in the last year-ish, getting in/out, nice beaches (seems like), etc

Also, how comes when you type a title it capitalises every word? Bit weird
