A list of puns related to "Texasβindian Wars"
Texas forces continued their advance into Indian lands, pursued by a larger Indian force attempting to pin them down. Unfortunately, they secured an occupation of province US502, allowing them to intercept the 1st Immortal Division mid-redeployment. The battle that ensued was fierce, but with the support of 2nd Homeland Defense Regiment the Indians managed to secure a slight victory over Texan forces. Without an escape route, and surrounded on three sides, the Texan forces chose to bunker down and await further orders, not pressing their advantage into the Indian Federation.

Elsewhere, Texan forces made advances into Indian territory unopposed.
Having identified the source of the landings, Texan forces attempted to invade US529 and take the airfields there critical to Canadian war efforts. They were met by a large Canadian force that repelled the attack with relative ease, though at a high cost. The paratroopers continued during the conflict, and the Texas failure to capture the airfield was a strategic disaster.

Having just assembled a defensive line, they were unable to contest the majority of coalition advances into Texan territory, succeeding only in defending the capital city and pushing back the enroaching Canadian forces. Despite the chaos of the transition, a Canadian attempt to use paratroopers to encircle the city ended in failure, and were easily dispatched by local Texan forces.

The isolated Texan landing party, starved for resources due to their lax occupation policy, was intercepted by Dominion forces as they proceeded to manuever north. The battle was a disaster for the Texans, unable to mount an effective resistance, leading to their complete surrender to Canadian forces.

All units either repairable or uninjured are captured following the Texan surrender, with the Dominion enjoying a comprehensive victory.
Further south, the Texan military continued to make inroads into Dominion territory from their landing sights, taking on a much more gentle hand against the local civilian population, which feed information freely to Dominion forces. The Texan army, comprised of roughly 9000 soldiers, isn't received warmly by the Canadian citizens, but no incidents of violence arise. Local civilians freely make radio transmissions and phonecalls to the rest of the country, reporting that the force is comprised mostly of tanks and infantry, and looks worse for wear given the precarious supply situation.
In the west, the Horton Left Guard smashes against the fragile remains of the Texan incursion into Canada, smashing it completely. The fragile remains of the Texan 3rd Corps retreats south, into US372.

The Northern Front
Great Lake troops have finally reached the front lines, taking up defensive positions alongside their Indian allies. The lack of Texas soldiers in the area is a respite for the people of the Indian Federation, and the arrival of Great Lakes makes a potential counter-attack a worrying reality for northern Texas, which has began to arm civilian militias and hunker down in preparation of the invasion.
The Great Lakes attempted to deploy their navy out of the Great Lakes, reaching Niagara Falls. Until now, the Wellend Canal has held, an ancient machine of a bygone era allowing small naval vessels the oppurtunity to escape the Great Lakes and access the broader world. As the last Great Lake ship passed however, the lock system suffered a failure and is now impassable for all ships until it is repaired at the cost of 20 PDEV. The Great Lake navy nonetheless, went on to complete its mission. They engaged the Texan navy, and began shore bombardments off the Texan coast.
The Eastern Front
A large Texan force was identified by Canadian scouts moving out of Indian territory in US372. The Canadian Left Guard was ordered to intercept the army, but failed to do so. Having been previously ordered to entrench themselves, the delay in mobilizing the forces and preparing an attack was too great and the Texan army successfully snuck past the large Canadian force. The Canadian army liberated the territory now left undefended, but failed to intercept the Texan army. The Texan army also avoided contact with entrenched Canadian forces in US375, liberating US374.
Canada, using a newly built airstrip, began further advancing its paratroopers into Texan territory.
Elsewhere, the Texan armies split into many smaller forces and began to proceed with the liberation of occupied Texan land. The Canadian front line wmet several challenged by Texas, but Texan forces managed to sidestep the Canadian front line, capturing US394 and the Canadian airstrip in the process, stranding Canada's paratroopers, and the successful capture of 25 HH-3 'Harrier' aircraft. This represents the entire Canadian air force stationed in US394. The aircraft, having recently returned from deployment, were in the middle of refueling and were unable to fly out in time.

While I have added some of these into the units, I was just wondering if anyone has another idea on how to teach it.
General Edward Canby in the California Modoc Wars 1872-73. Commander in the Pacific Northwest.
The Modoc had lived near The Lava Beds in northeastern California. Forced to move to a reservation in Oregon which they had to share with their historical enemies, the Klamath tribe, they had pled with the US government to return to California. When the US refused, the Modoc left the reservation and returned illegally. In 1872, the US Army went to fight against them to force them back and the Modoc War broke out.
The Modoc people all had native names that were difficult to pronounce, so over time they were given names like Boston Charley, Hooker Jim, and Steamboat Frank. The leader and shaman of the tribe was named Kientpoos, and he was called Captain Jack.
In the first major battle, 400 US soldiers (including cavalry and howitzer units) attacked Captain Jack and his 52 Modoc Warriors.
Undaunted by Captain Jackβs strong defensive position, Lt. Col. Frank Wheaton, the Armyβs local commanding officer, had wrote that he fully expected that a dayβs battle would βmake short work of this impudent and enterprising savage.β
The Modoc took advantage of the lava ridges, cracks, depressions, and caves, all such natural features being ideal from the standpoint of defense. Tule Lake bounded the Stronghold on the north and served as a source of water. The Modoc repulsed troops advancing from the west and east.
The U.S. Army lost 35 men killed and 25 enlisted men wounded (and then retreated). Captain Jack's Modoc suffered no casualties.
Chastened by the defeat, Wheaton, who had commanded troops in the civil war, wrote, βI have never before encountered an enemy, civilized or savage, occupying a position of such great natural strength as the Modoc stronghold, nor have I ever seen troops engage a better-armed or more skillful foe.β

The Army withdrew and decided to try and negotiate a treaty. But the Modoc didn't think they would compromise and believed that if the Americans lost their leaders, the Army would leave- and so plotted to kill them.
Captain Jack had been reluctant to agree to the killings, believing it "coward's work", but was pressured by other warriors to agree. He insisted on being given another

I have 6 years of IT experience now. I graduated in 2017 but due to my father's declining health, I had to come back to India in an emergency without being able to apply or join a job in the US. Currently in india working for a well known fintech company. I really want to go back to the US and work there. All the hard work I put in for my graduation seems wasted. Used up all my saving for my graduation and now I don't even earn enough here. People don't seem to find my knowledge or my expertise worthy of a decent salary even after getting exceptional performer(yearly rating) twice in 3 years, I don't get to earn enough. I do not have work visa for the US since I had to leave the US in an emergency when I was on OPT period. And didn't had the job offer when I left the US in that rush. I feel lost, tired and disheartened of my never ending struggle. I do not give up because I want my parents to feel proud of me. I want to give them all the comfort I can but at times feel helpless. My fear of getting unemployed keeps me from moving forward or take a jump to another job or resign from the current one(where I am mistreated and underpaid). I am the only bread earner in the house. it seems I have lost all the confidence in myself. I feel I have made all the wrong choices in life. I don't know what I am doing and where I am heading.

Following the recent rebellion to Texas's west led by Indians, massive panic has erupted, worrying that this new confederacy might give help to the already rivalrous Comanches which have made a name for themselves by pillaging the northern countryside of Texas. Thus, the Congress has declared war on this confederation, some seeking to annex its territory in a deal with the United States to divide up Northern Mexican territory. Also to be noted is Texas's support to the Republic of Rio Grande.
A leading congressman had this to say to much applause of the House of Representatives:
>Gentleman, there is no greater existential threat to the survival of our fledgling republic than this Indian Confederation that has propped itself up to our west. In due time, they will secure their independence from Mexico, as we have, and promptly launch raids to our Western frontier. This can simply not be allowed to happen, and it is clear that the only way to fix this is by annexing their territory entirely in order to subdue them. We can establish treaty lands from there, and forever cure the issue of Indian bandits on the frontier.
The leading Republican senator had this to say, to more controversy:
>Not only is this an existential danger to the security of our republic, but Mexico's implosion presents a prime opportunity for us to exploit. We can use our allies in the United States government to expand our borders, even as far as the Pacific ocean! Imagine that: our two great republics stretching from sea to shining sea. Gentleman, this will be our hour. If we extend our borders this far, we will have proven our sovereignty to the world stage, and the United States would be totally unable to annex us.
Another spoke of a more diplomatic option, which gathered a fair amount of agreeance:
>Perhaps it'd be best to put this rebel confederacy down, as the Mexican government is entirely unstable. We cannot trust these rebels to act in a peaceful manner, savages as they are. However, it would be unwise if we were to simply annex their territory. These Indians would now be our burden, not Mexico's. Perhaps if our republic were stronger in number, we would be able to afford annexing this, but I say that we should do our best to build good will with our neighbor. Then, perhaps in the future, we could purchase this land. Surely this investment would pay off, as there are no doubt mineral rights to be exploited in that territory.
