A list of puns related to "Texas A&m University Corps Of Cadets"
I'm a 20 year old male from Miami, Florida and I'm interested in transferring to Texas A & M to study Agricultural Communications after obtaining my AA degree at Dade College. I am also interested in joining the Corps of Cadets. My elderly mother is single and disabled and I'm all she has so she's coming with me no matter where I go. Can I join the Corps of Cadets? Don't Corps of Cadeta students sleep in barracks?? Or can they get a place off campus? Can there be an exception because of my situation with my mom?
Just a plain-issue grey one with letters on the front used for PT in the winter? I can't find it in stock in any place selling Aggie gear. Maybe Ebay?
EDIT: Fount it on TAMU Marketplace -- thanks REDDIT!
I was listening to the Texas Standard on NPR at lunch today, and they were discussing a new book by a Baylor alum (published by A&M press) about the murder of an A&M student in 1926 in a riot during halftime of the football game. The story was briefly summarized in /u/BearW17hNoName about two years ago in this thread.

Description from the publisher's website: >During halftime of the October 30, 1926, football game between Baylor University and the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas, a massive riot erupted between the two student bodies that resulted in the death of Texas A&M senior cadet Charles Sessums. Though various newspaper articles have chronicled this infamous βcold caseβ over the last ninety years, none has placed the riot in its proper context, nor has any official determination ever identified the person responsible for Sessumsβs death.
>T. G. Webb has pored over related historic documents, including contemporary newspaper accounts, records in the library archives of both universities, personal correspondence of the victimβs family, and the original report of the Pinkerton detective hired by Texas A&M to investigate the incident.
>In Battle of the Brazos, Webb examines and explains the riot, its origins, and its aftermath, untangling many enduring myths that grew up around the event over the years to establish the definitive record. He allows readers to witness the heart-breaking arrival of Cadet Sessumsβs parents at the Waco train station as they came to receive the body of their deceased son, and he places readers amid the swirl of charges, recriminations, and allegations that clouded the atmosphere at both Texas A&M and Baylor. Most significantly, Webb provides previously unpublished indications of a cover-up designed to shield the killerβs identity from public knowledge.
>This βhistorical whodunitβ is a must-read for sports fans and historians, devotees of βleather-helmetβ football, local history buffs, and Texas football enthusiasts alike.
From this description and what the author was saying in the interview, it looks like there was a conspiracy to cover up the details and make sure the murd
