A list of puns related to "Tenor Fly"
I am looking to get into a glider with high passive safety and small packing volume/weight for easy hike and fly. Right now I fly Ozone products (Buzz Z5 and Ultralight 4) but I have heard a ton of amazing things about Hanes Papeshβs Phi gliders. Just wondering if anyone here has flown them and what your impressions are?
I am looking especially at the Viola 18 or the Tenor Light 21, as I am in between the weight ranges of many gliders at either 90Kg or 98Kg depending on what harness and reserve combinations I fly with. (Either an Ozone Oxygen1 on the light end or a Woody Valley Wani2 on the heavy side.) Bonus points would be if I could still pack the new glider into the Oxygen1 backpack as I do with the UL4, the whole kit with reserve, harness and helmet all fits into a pack the size and weight of a book bag. Only issue is that the UL4 doesnβt really glide that well.
If I can find the right combination I would get rid of the UL4 and just keep the new glider but there are not a lot of reviews that talk about the packing volume or glide ratios of those gliders with that type of wing loading. Just thought Iβd put it out there and see if someone else had ever flown these.
I appreciate any feedback you have!
