I think most people who dispise this show fail to realize that it’s a parody, not a reboot. This show has a humor that’s not really everyone’s cup of tea, but most of the humor had got me laughing up a storm. The DC references and how the other DC heroes are just doing their own thing was pretty cool, and I like that they’re very self aware that the old 2003 fans are upset of the show many times.
I’ve seen both GO to the Movies and TTG v. TT and enjoyed both films. I wouldn’t say they pushed the limit with the comedy, but I do love the dark humor and 4th wall breaks they made. And once again, very self aware.
If you never seen TTG, I recommend it for what it is.
I think people just got upset that teen Titans wasn't a thing anymore and didn't want a remake with a seemingly younger target audience, but growing up watching it, I think it was one of the best shows on TV. It was funny to see Robin be a complete simp and have it blow up in his face and all the other characters were great too. I'll admit there were some episodes that were very much lacking in quality, but a large majority of the episodes were incredible and hilarious, I've heard the teen titans go movie was really good too. I'd really recommend giving the show a chance anyway.
