A list of puns related to "Tea Tree"
I was just wondering if this conditioner is in the clear for SebDerm. Iβve been struggling to find good conditioners for my dry straw like hair after using Nizoral. Iβve tried the Vanicream conditioner but my hair does not like it..
I diluted tea tree essential oil with water and sprayed it on my face but it wasn't diluted enough and now I've got red splotches all over my face, neck and ears. I can't stop scratching. This is very painful. I am using coconut oil for moisturizer (not working) and aloe vera (works for only a couple mins) and vitamin e oil (kind of works but not really). What can I do to reduce the inflammation and stop the itching?! Thank you
(Edit: Just wanted to clarify here that I am not looking for advice on how to use Tea tree oil. I am pretty adamantly against putting anything on piercings other than sea salt solutions and Nielmed / piercing sprays. I am purely asking this from a curiosity stand-point. The more scientificly backed the answer is, the better. Please feel free to share your own experiences though! Thanks to everyone who has already participated and given me some great information and insight!)
I. Am. So. Confused. If this sub has taught me anything, the top thing would be "Tea Tree Oil = bad." So I have been operating under that logic and never used it. I got an industrial a little over a month ago and ended up with some pretty bad irritation bumps. I went back to the piercer who reccomended tea tree oil. This was a big red flag to me after this sub teaching me not to use it. I immediately found the most well rated, APP certified, piercer in my state and asked them for advice and opinion and told them what the other piercer told me and how it made me nervous to trust their advice. She proceeded to tell me that a lot of certified piercers still reccomend it and she said it's fine to use but never used it herself. I am playing it safe and absolutely NOT going to use it but I just dont understand why opinions on this seem to vary so much. Can anyone give me a run down about this stuff just to satisfy my curiousity? I just cant wrap my head around the fact that the most well rated piercer I could find who is certified said it was fine to use...
It says it expired in 2019 but it seems fine and Iβve got no adverse effects. My routine is Coalface > Tea Tree Water > Amazon Primer cuz they wonβt make my moisturizer anymore.
Honestly I have no idea what Iβm doing, I just know this works.
Hi there,
I'm a registered nurse and have worked in hospitals for over six years now. Nurses and health care workers are at higher risk to pick up MRSA and other nasty bugs on their skin and I definitely have noticed that I'm more likely to develop infected hair follicles since I began working. I'd like to deal with this proactively and tea tree oil has been shown to reduce staph colonization people so here I am!
I'm looking for a safe brand or vetted company that sells 10% tea tree oil soap or body wash. I have found many different ones on Amazon, but after reading this year about the amount of fake and knock-off products they sell from clothing to vitamins to foods and beauty products, I'm extremely skeptical of buying anything I really care about there anymore.
Does anyone have a recommendation for me? (I'm also aware I could just buy TTO and add it to my body wash but figured I'd start here.)
Thank you!
Wondering if itβs able to be cure with strictly clove and tea tree. I heard these donβt kill eggs but if I retreat before nymphs mature into adults and lay new eggs then it could be cured?
Trust me, this does have a point related to eczema. I seem to be prone to fungal skin infections and I work with animals (one of the leading causes of such infections, my GP says). The way this usually shows itself is nail infections, not helped by the fact I have always loved long nails. I always scrubbed under them with Hibiscrub (the soap used by vets) but it didn't seem to help. I then discovered tea tree oil is good for fighting fungal infections, as good as medicinal creams according to some proper studies (not MLM B.S.) and since it's a liquid, would be much easier to get under the nail than a cream would be. (tea tree oil is incredibly toxic, probably why it kills fungi so well, so be careful. My pets naturally seem to hate the smell and won't lick my hands after I've applied it, but just a heads up, not to let them). I applied it with a small paintbrush to get right under the nail.
Then I read that tea tree oil is also good for eczema.
Now I've had eczema on my hands for so long, the skin on my index fingers is getting really thin (it breaks if try and open things without a silicon protector) and my phone hardly ever recognises my index fingerprints anymore. So I decided to paint my worst areas with what was left on the brush after I'd done my nails, leave it to dry, then put E45 cream on (tea tree oil is very drying).
I don't want to jinx myself, but for the first time in years, my hands only have one spot of eczema. Like, one single blister (over an old wound that I think at this stage, I'll be left with for life). And my phone recognises my fingerprint again.
Anyway, I'm sure it won't work for everyone. I'm kind of shocked I'm not allergic to tea tree oil to be honest, but I'm not and it seems to be working for me. So if you have thinning skin thanks to the steroid cream, it might be worth a shot. Even if it only reduces your steroid cream use, it'll slow the thinning.
Although in fairness, I have never felt so awake.
So I got a haircut today and the lady said I had a spot where it was blondish (I have very dark natural hair) and that's something that was never there before. I recently used about 5 drops of tea tree oil in my shampoo and I usually put the mixture right at the top of my head first which is where the color fade was. I'm wondering if anybody has had fade spots due to excessive tea tree oil use?
I don't mean that you are limited to men's or women's shampoo. I am referring to the fact how shampoos are marketed. Most companies have their own line for women and men
I see a lot here about tea tree oil. Anyone have any brand recommendations (amazon) as well as how you use it (where you put it and how much)?
