LPT: Every time you cook something that you feel came out especially tasty, freeze a small portion of it; not much, even half a cup will do. After a few months you should have enough for a whole meal or two. You can now enjoy your own tapas style meal with foods that you know that you'll love.
The beautiful thing about this is, because the freezer portions are so small, it will not affect the quantity of the food to be served. There is everything to gain and nothing to lose.

vegan tapas/finger food recipe ideas that arent stuffed mushrooms?
Hi, My mom is making tapas style birthday dinner for my grandfathers celebration, and she asked me to give her some recipes for stuff I can eat (very nice and thoughtful), but I can't really think of anything, as I usually cook for myself and don't snack very much, so all my cook books are for full meals. The only thing I can think of is stuffed mushrooms or crackers with hummus etc, but do any of yall have some more elaborate recipes that were a hit with the omnies too?

I'm doing drinks and tapas for 8 but I'm bored with what I normally make. What are some good ideas for food to pick at, preferably cooked in advance and reheated or kept warm.
I want to enjoy the evening and not get stuck in the kitchen all night, hence pre-prep. Spicy food is OK and nobody has allergies. I enjoy the challenge of new stuff.

Can someone tell me where I can get good inexpensive Mexican food? Or will someone open up a chipotle? Everyday i crave tacos, burritos, taquitos. And i wake up to this city with subpar Mexican food. I mean, papa joes? Desperado? No thanks! I found one good tapas place, Don Pinchos. Please help.
Ive even been to the new Pascdo place, its expensive for what your actually getting. I would even be ok with a Taco Bell. But now I see Subway popping up everywhere?

Plaza Mayor has an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and tapas bars so there are an unlimited amount of places to grab a bite to eat or a tasty drink like sangria as you watch the large amount of tourists and locals exploring the square. The food and drinks within the plaza are a bit overpriced

Ideas needed: cold appetizers/finger foods/tapas
I'm working with a bar to help them develop their menu. However, they have very little cooking space. They have a fridge and cold table, and can't add anything that will require a flame suppression system.
We can potentially get more equipment but because space is so limited, we will have to add only equipment that can be used in multiple ways.
Ideas and suggestions welcome!

Good authentic Spanish food/tapas for cheap, where do I get it?
Where can I get cheap (good) food in Madrid, in a nice location?
We have layover flight and have to stay in Madrid for one day/night so we are planning to have some nice tapas and drinks from 19:00/20:00 until 01:00 or so.
Are there any people from Madrid that can recommend a place to me? Me and my girlfriend prefer a nice and not too crowded place where you can sit and relax with tapas and drinks.
