A list of puns related to "Tana Tidung Regency"
There was a post a few days ago about Cuban not inviting the Nelsonβs and everyone was bashing Cuban for it.
Looks like the original article has been updated to reflect Dirk did reach out to The Nelsonβs to invite them and original article has been updated to reflect this.
I am posting this because often times, the corrections to inaccurate news never gets coverage. We should not be quick to judge without the full information as I commented in the original post.
The excerpt below was taken from Larry Brown Sports. I donβt have access to read the Dallas morning News article.
Cuban is referencing how Townsendβs story was later updated to reflect that Nowitzki, according to multiple sources, personally contacted the Nelsons to invite them to his jersey retirement ceremony. Townsendβs story also stated that Cuban was not in charge of the invite list, which was reportedly done by an event planner.

Edit: Meant Reference in title.
Guys do you think there is a chance of archon mode the type of game where two players control one civ getting added. Would actually really love it in game especially because when i play iΒ΄m horrible and can only focus on either eco or scouting/fighting so addition of such a thing would really help me in mastering the latter. Plus i do like the name regency council for it regency for short.
Dies anyone know why their is 2, 60 zones on this section of road near regency park on the new superway section? Its been like this since last november and has got to the point that its dangerous because everyone just keeps going 80.
To everyone who is a healthcare worker or if you know someone who works in it (and are extremely burnt out), for the date range of April 18-23, you can get a "2 Queens Family Ocean Suite" for $150/night. The regular price of this hotel suite is $500/night.
Edit: Gone!
In my fan fic I referred to a character having one of Fanny Burney's novels. We know that the library at Pemberley is the work of many generations, and so would other gentry libraries such as at Kellynch Hall (if they didn't pawn them all) and Norland.
So what books would commonly be found? Would there have been herbal guides for home remedies? Atlases? (There's certainly one in the 1995 S&S.) Foreign language books? Just what would be the typical extent of household libraries among the middle and upper classes? Heck, even the lower classes might have some required books, like the Bible or farming almanacs.
Good morning (or evening?) r/fantasy! Iβm Olivia Atwater, author of the Regency Faerie Tales, the most recent of which is LONGSHADOW (just released on 11/07).
I am a full-time writer who lives in Montreal, Quebec (are we part of Canada? It depends who you ask). I have been, at various times, a historical re-enactor, a professional witch at a metaphysical supply store, a web developer, and a vending machine repairpersonβand up until maybe five years ago, I thought this was a perfectly normal resume, until the first time I listed all of those things off in front of someone and received a response of βyou what?β
I live with two cats and one endlessly patient husband, Mr Nicholas Atwater, with whom I will soon be co-authoring a swashbuckling epic fantasy (2022). Apart from writing, we mostly dedicate our waking hours to playing Pathfinder (D&D) with our friends. Mr Atwater is the most fantastic GM in the world, and no, you cannot have him.
The first book in the Regency Faerie Tales, HALF A SOUL, describes the trials of Miss Theodora Eloisa Charity Ettings, who lost half of her soul to a malicious faerie and has become more-or-less socially oblivious and prone to scandal. The latest book in the series, LONGSHADOW, follows Theodoraβs adopted daughter, Abigail Wilder, as she investigates a series of faerie-linked murders in London and inevitably falls in love with a mysterious woman named Mercy.
Ask me anything! You can begin posting questions now; Iβll start answering at 12 PM EST, and will go on in that manner until I can answer no more.
Edit: All right everyone, it's past 7 PM for me, and I'm off for the evening! Thanks for all of the interesting questions!

Hey folks, I'm looking for a non-binary equivalent to Sir or Madam. I know this topic has been discussed here before but the replies to these questions tend to blow off the question and say "just don't". That's fine for the real world but I'm writing a Regency inspired setting but free of sexism. Part of the language of the time was to address or refer to people using honorifics like Sir and Madam. Does anyone know of an accepted NB equivalent? (Mx. is equivalent to Mr. and Ms. NOT sir and madam)
Thanks!
Looking for a book my wife read. She only remembers the beginning. There was a garden party and a woman was being playfully chased by a man. He wanted to give her a kiss. He did give her a kiss, and everyone saw and then they had to get married. Heβs kind of a rake. She thinks thereβs some kind of mystery suspense aspect, but she could be combining another book with it. She doesnβt think itβs one of the major regency romance authors (specifically heyer)
Thank you!
Hi Folks! It's my first time sharing my work for a critique. Ever! I've just started writing.
Here is a link to the critiques of others work I have completed recently:
[760] Chapter Excerpt from NA Fantasy
[3892] Antwerp's Island (Chapter 1)
This is the first chapter of a historical romance novel. Think Bridgerton meets Spice Girls. This is the first chapter from Daniel, our (flawed) hero's point of view. After a 7 year absence he has returned to London. He is opening a new co-ed anonymous club for the haut ton (Upper Class). He is giving his cousin a tour of the space in an effort to convince him to invest.

Previous to this scene: Prologue - Seven years prior, in which Tarynβs father experiences a major gambling loss to the Marquess of Inglethorp. Offers his daughterβs hand in marriage as recompense. Sabotages the budding relationship between Taryn and Daniel. Daniel arrives to propose, and is given a (forged) letter ending their relationship. Taryn is told that Daniel is a scoundrel and has fled the country.
For some reason, Christmas is always my period for some re-reading of Austenβs books especially P&P and Persuasion (my favs). This year I want to read some more historical books regarding this period. Anyone has great books they have read and would suggest?
Thank you:)
Edit: loving the responses! Thank you all for the suggestions!
