A list of puns related to "Swift County, Minnesota"
It was announced today that forty-one years after her remains were discovered, Walker County Jane Doe has been identified. Her name was Sherri Ann Jarvis. She was fourteen years old, and she was from Stillwater, Minnesota.
She had apparently been in state custody after being removed from her family due to truancy, but ran away. Neither her family nor the state were able to locate her after that. They do not know why she was in Texas. According to her family, Sherri loved animals and horseback riding.
Her remains were discovered on November 1, 1980, just hours after she had been brutally beaten and sexually assaulted.

Apologies if I missed anything, there was a press conference that was streamed on Facebook Live but I have not had the chance to watch it yet.
EDIT: I wanted to add some details I gathered after watching the press conference. Sherri ran away sometime around her 14th birthday in March 1980, so she had been alive but missing for about 7 months before she was murdered. She WAS reported missing by her family and they even hired a private investigator to help locate her to no avail. Her case was probably closed and records destroyed after she would have been 18, so she would not have been in any databases.
Her family received a letter postmarked from Denver after she ran away that stated she would come home after she turned 18, and this was the last communication they received from her.
Her brother said she had ran away before after she started hanging with a bad crowd; older men believed to be involved in criminal activity.
EDIT 2: I forgot to add that the three witnesses who believe: they saw Sherri prior to her death asking for directions to the Ellis Prison are unfortunately now deceased.
EDIT 3: An article with more information about Sherriβs life https://www.twincities.com/2021/11/12/14-year-old-girl-identified-as-victim-in-1980-texas-cold-case-homicide-had-forest-lake-stillwater-connections/
Recently, I got in love with Meryl Streepβs movies after watching some of her memorable movies like The Devil Wears Prada, Mamma Mia! The Movie, The Post, Silkwood and Kramer vs Kramer. But one in particular, The Bridges of Madison County, stroke me with a sense of familiarity. In tone and message. Its theme is about having your true love in a short period of time. And it reminded me of one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite artists, Taylor Swift. Yes, it is Wildest Dreams from her 1989 album. And this is how I theorized how the hit song is based on that story.
The concept of both Bridges of Madison County is that it is about Francesca Johnson, a lonely Italian war bride fell in love with a passing National Geographic photographer Robert Kincaid while her family attends a state fair. Meanwhile, Wildest Dreams concept in the song is about a woman hoping her lover will never forget about their best times after their fling is over and it shows in the songβs music video, an actress named Marjorie Finn fell in love with her co-star Robert Kingsley (in which their names are inspired by Taylor Swiftβs real-life grandparents) when they shot a movie while in Africa. It shows they had fallouts but the real fallout it is when Marjorie realize that Robert is married to another woman after she saw a woman kissed him and when Robertβs wife wore a ring in the left finger.
So here is my take on how it is possibly connected to the story. First of the concept itself are the same. It is about two lovers fell in love in short period of time. Take note that the lyrics βHe said, "Let's get out of this town, Drive out of the city, away from the crowds" is about the desire of Robert Kincaid that he and Francesca ran away in order to have a happier life. Second lyrics that kinda mentions The Bridges of Madison County again is βI said, "No one has to know what we do", His hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my roomβ in which Francesca says to Robert that no one must not know about their relationship until they wanted tell so and that Robertβs clothes are in Francesca and her husband Richardβs room when they took a soak in the bathtub. And another lyric that describe Robertβs and Francescaβs intimate moments is βTangled up with you all nightβ having in two scenes that Robert and Francesca cuddled up near the fireplace and in the hot tub where they soaked at night, suggesting they cuddled all night. And the final lyric clue is *βHe's so tall and handsome as he
