Hi guys! I have been really into the Sunset Strip Slayer case with Doug CLark and Carol Bundy. The more I read, the more I think that Carol was the mastermind of everything. Does anyone have any info about her or Jack Murray? I think that he was her accomplice and not Doug.
Anybody remember this show?
Must be almost 15yrs old now, was on around the big writers strike in '08?
I always thought Matthew Perry was just playing alternate timeline Chandler in it - he plays Matt Albie, a pill popping TV writer.
Aaron Sorkin show, unfortunately only lasted 1 series, fantastic ensemble cast.
Because of the strike and cancellation it does get wildly fast paced in the 2nd half of the series, and because of when it was filmed the war in Afghanistan and Iraq is heavily featured, but if you want to see a darker Chandler, it's well worth a watch if you can find it anywhere.
Unfortunately I lost my copies in a hard drive failure and it's nowhere to be found here in the UK
I am visiting West Hollywood for only a couple days and just looking for any recommendations specifically on Sunset Strip. Any general information would be useful too... is it overhyped? dangerous? best local bars? Anything is useful!!

Synopsis:
Alaina brings us another 2 part series this week, this time we’re talking about the Sunset Strip Killers, Doug Clark and Carol Bundy. It’s always wild to us how two shockingly depraved people can find each other like this, and this case brings wild to a new level. Together Doug and Carol would kill sex workers. Carol is only suspected in two murders; many are convinced she helped with more.
