I didn’t even know who this guy was. My grandmother watches Islamic videos on YouTube all day so he came to my attention a while back. I have a Facebook account just to communicate with my Bangladeshi relatives back home and see what’s going on in Bangladesh and all I’ve been seeing lately is posts about this guy.
Apparently he’s been denied entry to the U.K. So what’s the verdict on this guy? Is he a moderate Islamic preacher or is there any validity to him promoting hate against other religions?
I am a Bengali Christian (Ex Muslim) and have been for like 5 years. I recently heard Bengali Muslim elders including my mother talking about an "Atheist Ex Muslim" trying to stop Mizanur Rahman Azhari from coming to Britain (I'm British) I was shocked when I found out it was Mufassil Islam as I knew him for years. I followed Mufassil Islam for years when he was an Atheist and "reverted to Islam" but why does the community claim he is not Muslim? It is widely believed in the Muslim community that one who declares the shahada is Muslim as we don't know if their intentions are true and this automatically makes them Muslims. Mizanur Rahman Azhari is a Bengali preacher/imam and I have seen lots of waz by him and my mother listening to his waz (waz is a speech? I don't know the proper English term) in parliament they were talking about trying to stop his entrance to Britain. I believe he should be here (I think he is here already?) Because they can monitor him and he is calmer than Ali Dawah, Mohammed Hijab and other British Muslim preachers. I would even be open to debating Mizanur Rahman Azhari if I had the necessary education skills. What do you guys think?
