I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

Hello Boys & Girls,
Warning!! This is going to be long read and most probably only interesting to fans of the 'A song of ice and fire' series(the books on which the the tv show 'Game of thrones' is based on). Obviously SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!
A bit of background: I have been a pretty ardent fan of the asoiaf series for about 8 years now. I read the books after watching the first season of the tv series back in 2011. The books, imo, are really good. They are what can be described as realistic fantasy with fantasy elements like magic and dragons being the background for a story with a lot of political intrigue, strong character arcs, unexpected twists, great foreshadowing etc. The world building is brilliant, characters nuanced and the plots really gripping. In the last 8 years, I have reread the main series and the supplementary literature (4 books and 3 novellas) multiple times and spent countless hours online, reading and crafting crazy theories.
I am not really going to talk about the tv series. Lets just say I was a fan till about the 5th season where,imo, the writing started going downhill. Season 6 and 7 were meh with occasional peaks but the last season was ,again imo, an unmitigated disaster. Real shit raised to theetam squared. But lets not talk more about that.
To wash out the bad taste of season 8, I decided to reread the series once again. This time though I decided to go for the audiobooks as I have recently gotten into them and really enjoy them.(I actually look forward to my daily commute because of audiobooks).
Now, normally I always imagine the characters in my mind as I read, with the show actors as reference.But this time I decided to change it up a bit and tried to imagine all the characters as malayalam actors. It began as kind of a joke between me and my wife but then I really started to enjoy the experience so went all in. I took time to mentally assign a different actor for most of the main characters in the series. I even made an Excel sheet to track who is who etc.
So now you understand the significance of the post title. Now I thought if /r/kerala had any hardcore asoiaf fans, they might enjoy this so without further ado, the actors that I have cast in my head for a song of ice and fire, or should I say 'Manjindeyum Theeyindeyum Gaanam', are listed below. All actors are supposed to be imagined at the ages indicated in the linked images. In cases, where more than one actor is shown, its cos I haven't made up my mind yet.
