Will this be the season with the least amount of regular style merge tribal councils?
Assuming the final 5 vote is regular vote off, this season would only have had 4 regular tribal councils at the merge (F11, F8, F6 and F5 vote offs). Is this the least amount of regular tribals in a merge phase ever?
This really highlights how heavily twists have affected the merge phase of the game. At F12 we had the hour glass twist, at F10 we had the split group tribal, F7 had the do or die twist, and F4 is firemaking. Survivor really needs to go back to it's roots, or at least significantly decrease the amount of twists in the merge phase, I think maybe just 1 per merge would be better? Still shakes up the game without it happening every other week.
