A list of puns related to "Stuck In My Throat"
For context I get anxious whenever I eat luckily these few weeks haven't been so bad till this morning I decided to try my luck and eat bacon.
It almost instantly made me feel as if I had something in my throat. Throughout the whole day the feeling been on and off. I got a mint to help with this to get the feeling off of my head till it came back right after I finished the mint.
And then it stopped again when I started chatting with people.
But now it's back and more uncomfortable than ever it feels as if that piece of bacon still stuck. I tried drinking some water this morning but it instantly made my throat feel like it was closing up and I was choking on that piece of bacon.
Now it just feel like I have an uncomfortable lump or piece of something in my throat. What do I do or should I try sleeping it off?
The answer is simple, I just find dad chokes hilarious.
It's a pain in the neck
Gave me a stiff neck
I put it in bread as recommended, but maybe I did too small a piece of bread? Itβs starting to become really uncomfortable. Does anyone have any tips? I tried everything I could think of: hot water, cold water, food, swallowing air gulp, pounding on their and chest, drinking water with my head tilted back, carbonated soda. Iβm all out of ideas. Desperate here (obviously). Thx
I tried washing it down with juice
It didn't work
Metal filings? Bone powder?
I took a 50 mg tablet of zoloft 7 hours ago and I have a very annoying sensation of the pill stuck in my upper throat (behind the Adam's apple). Anyone ever experienced this, and if so, how did you dislodge it? I did not dry swallow the pill, and I have tried swallowing lots of water, drinking soda, eating bread etc. And nothing has worked so far. I also am experiencing light nausea and acid reflux symptoms.
Edit: thanks to the people who commented, I have successfully swallowed it down by eating bread

Two nights ago I got a feeling like something was stuck in my throat. When Iβm not swallowing it feels like I have a large pill stuck in my βAdams appleβ area and when I try to swallow it feels like the phantom pill moves to the base of my neck before getting stuck again. I hadnβt taken medication or eaten any hard foods.
I have tried drinking water, hot tea, allergy medicine, hot baths and throat massages but nothing works. I canβt sleep because itβs so uncomfortable.
What is this and how do I make it stop??
I often get the trapped air feeling a lot of people with noburp get, and usually let it out by triggering my gag reflex. This helps most of the time, but sometimes, I cant seem to air vomit at all. Any tips?
Oh man, sheβs in good spirits not but that shook me so hard.
We had tacos for dinner tonight and I made hers first, my other daughtersβ taco next, and was in the process of making mine when I heard a panicked βMom?!β. The look of fear on her faceβI canβt shake it.
βItβs stuck in my throat!β
Sheβs gagging with a wild look on her face, pure fear. Sheβs not chokingβnot turning colors, can still talk, can breathe. But she was panicking and coughing and gagging. I didnβt know quite what to do so I hit her on the back, hard, and bent my finger to do a sweep. Her airway wasnβt blocked so I didnβt try the heimlich. Fortunately, a lot of gagging got it up pretty quickly.
Goddamn. That was scary. Smoothies for breakfast tomorrow!
1-2 x per year a pill swallowed was getting stuck in my throat. The trick is to swallow a few drops of water then take your pill(s). Essentially a dry esophagus leads to irritation while swallowing pills. Wish I had known this years ago.
Boom.
So Iβm a guy and towards the end of the night as I was about to sleep there felt like there was a bubble in my throat. It wonβt go away and itβs very annoying. I cannot fall asleep due to this and it feels like my mouth is being filled with air that doesnβt exist if that makes any sense
Hi. Last few weeks my acid reflux flared up again but this time with a new symptom. Like something is stuck in my throat . I went and bought Omeprazone 20mg and took the 14 day course, some time on day 6 it went away and I was happy but then it came back again and now I can bearly eat anything because I feel that thing when i swollow. And also discomfort right in the center below my rib cage. And I do have a hiatal hernia. Has any one had that lump feeling and how long did it take to go away and what did you do? Thanks.
Let's have a little bit of fun I can enjoy.
Age:13 Sex: Female Weight: 78 pounds Meds: amitriptyline (for sleep), ibuprofen (sprained ankle), Tylenol (for the headaches) Pre-existing conditions: concussion, insomnia, and an impressive number of mental disorders. β’ β’ β’ I feel like there is something constantly stuck in my throat. Doctors have said they saw nothing. If you know the mucus plugging your throat feeling that you get from the common cold, think of that but constant. All day everyday. I started noticing this about a few months ago. I just am confused because my throat feels so closed when I breathe.
So I had a pill stick in my throat and two glasses of water would not force it down. The internet told me that bread or a thick drink like a milkshake would help. Of course without a milkshake on hand haha I ate a piece of bread. It did work thankfully!! BUT a little bummed that Iβm over 1200 for the day. Sometimes the universe just wants me to eat more bread π
Hey, I need advice on how to remove this or stop it hurting as I have 2 small bits of finger nail in my throat and it hurts so much. I have woken up with a sore throat the kind of one that you get when you are ill. I accidentally swallowed them when I was biting my nails. Help!!
I am 16 and take medication every night for depression/anxiety. Everytime I swallow the pill I get this feeling in my chest/throat that feels like it's stuck & it burns a little bit. My parents think this is my way of trying to not take the pills but that's really not the case. I've tried googling what it could be but I'm still confused. They don't understand how uncomfortable it can be. It makes it a lot harder to do anything and focus. Any ideas/advice?
Haha, just choking! Haha, just choking!
