Welcome to the HHH listening club
This week we'll be listening to Young Buck - Straight Outta Cashville
Here is a little intro to him and his music:
> David Darnell Brown (born March 15, 1981), also known as Young Buck, is an American rapper, actor, entrepreneur, and producer. Buck is a former member of the hip hop group UTP Playas. As a music executive, he is president of his own record label, Ca$hville Records, and is currently a member of the hip hop group G-Unit. After being dismissed from the group back in 2008, Buck reunited with his former group members on June 1, 2014 at Hot 97's Summer Jam event.
>Straight Outta Cashville is his debut studio album. It was released on August 24, 2004 through G-Unit Records & Interscope Records.
> Straight Outta Cashvilleβ'βs title alludes to the N.W.A. album, Straight Outta Compton, and is a neologism for Nashville, (Buck's hometown).
> The singles from this album include "Let Me In" (featuring 50 Cent), "Shorty Wanna Ride", and "Stomp" (featuring The Game & Ludacris). The album features several rappers "outside" of the G-Unit camp, such as Lil' Flip, David Banner, D-Tay, Stat Quo, and others. The album also features production from Lil Jon, Kon Artis, Dj Paul & Juicy J, Klasic from The Bullets Production Team, along with others.
> Straight Outta Cashville received minimal promotion after November of 2004 as result of the VIBE award incident, in which Young Buck was arrested for an assault. Though the case was eventually dropped, four months had passed by since Young Buck himself had been able to promote the album
> In its first week of release, Straight Outta Cashville debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart with sales of 361,000. The album has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA

Itβs a disgrace how the movie βStraight Outta Comptonβ completely misportrayed Eazy-E. They showed Eazy as a spaz when he never tripped about anything. They also showed him in tears gazing up at a billboard that showed Dr. Dreβs βThe Chronicβ had sold 5 million copies, when Eazy earned a large percentage of that album. Why would he be crying? Heβs getting paid off it. Not to mention the movie showed him going broke when he was worth 30 million at the time of his death, and once again, made a large percentage off everything Dr. Dre made. These are just small examples. They also made it look like it was Dreβs idea to start a label when it was Eazyβs. Anyone know why they did Eazy so dirty? He was one of the illest and wisest gangsters of all time and they portrayed him like a spazzy, broke moron.
