Good morning all, this is my first reddit post so bare with me here.
So my stats are 80attk/92str/80def/92hp/85mage/77pryr/85slyr. I'm trying to look everywhere for information on which slayer masters are better, and I honestly can't find much. I have been doing slayer at Steve for so damn long, and I'm thinking at 87 switching to duradel might be better for faster kraken chances, but I really dont have too much to go off to make a decision. I just wanna know if that's a smart idea, or if I'm being a noob and need to camp konar or something.
Can yall input how you did slayer, and maybe anything you wish you did differently. Would be a huge help! I dont really have a gp issue and I have a bit of godwars gear so bossing isn't out of the question for me.

Reposting as I mistakenly said chaelder last time. Slayer level is 69 btw
They're bad tasks when you're using the low level masters, but as a higher level with wilderness elite it will give a good use for one of the worst diary rewards. I know personally I would love the option of doing this task. I don't really see a downside as long as it's optional.
Too often is my move command cancelled or other command interrupted because i auto retaliate on a monster that isn't my task (often the monster i was just killing who's task i had just completed.
It just makes me quite unhappy
Let's get Steve's job back at the Ice Dungeon and instead get Pieve to become the new slayer master. Sounds simple enough, right?
Self explanitory- a short miniquest where you sacrifice Steve to Zamorak by tieing him up and having cave crawlers eat his intestines and other viscera out of his body, using the tortured screams to power a Zamorakian crystal.
Once the crystal reaches max charges, you could insert the crystal into Steves removed, but still beating heart, and cast Flames of Zamorak on it to burn the flesh away, in turn granting your wish to return Nieves spirit to the corporeal plane.
At first she could be totally horrified at what you have done to Steve, but she is bound to the crystal which you keep hold of, allowing you to "Contact NPC" with her, and she later gets Stockholm Syndrome and then you can marry her.
The Elysian spirit shield is no longer what it once was. We need to change it to an Arcane spirit shield.

Does anyone else get annoyed when you complete a slayer task or when you're running through the caves and you have to click around 8 times to run away from a monster because of auto retaliate giving you the message that Nieve wants you to stick with your slayer task? I know that I can simply turn off auto retaliate but it seems like they could just make it a simple message in the chat rather than something that interrupts what you are doing.
I see so many 100+ players still getting tasks off Nieve/Steve and I have no clue why, can someone confirm to me whether or not this is actually the best xp/hr overtime for someone going for 99? Or is Duradel better (assuming maxed stats/gear efficiently slaying with a cannon etc)
