A list of puns related to "Stephen Hopkins"
Rules: All are in character, so far IT has only killed 3 kids. Them being Melody, Pedro, and Sheldon. And its next target is Jimmy. The curfew has been lowered to 8pm due to the missing kids. No one knows for certain if they were murdered or not. No bodies have been found.
Round 1: Takes place at the beginning of the story
Round 2: Takes place after the story during the endless summer.
Gonna put together a Watch-Along Guide for Podship Casters: Verhoven in Hollywood soon, but for now, you can prep for next week while Netflix still has some non-original content, then try to get yourself to Avatarland in Orlando, Florida before the 10th to one-up David, catch The Last Jedi in theaters starting the night of December 14th (surprised I really haven't seen much marketing for that one), and finally see The Post when it opens up in your market (limited release starting 12/22, wide January 12th).
I believe the Chargers 2021 offseason has a very good case for the single best in the entire NFL. You'd have a difficult time finding another team that added the same amount of talent and impact players, and it was done without any egregious whiffs as well. Tom Telesco did an outstanding job this year bringing in players on good contracts who are making an immediate impact, and followed that up with what is looking like a stellar draft class. As an added wrinkle, this was all done for a brand new coaching staff who brought in their own offensive and defensive schemes. So it's frustrating when I see all of the anger and (often just factually incorrect) criticism toward Telesco just because we're not winning every single game. Here I will go through the moves and additions he made this year, so we can celebrate the work he has done.
1/17/21: The Chargers sign Brandon Staley to be the next Head Coach
Second only to your franchise quarterback (which he coincidentally also nailed last year), the head coach is one of the most important decisions a GM makes. Considered a bold choice by most, as he is only 38 and spent just one year as a coordinator before this job, so far it looks like we've hit a home run with Staley. The team is currently 8-5 in his first season with playoffs on the horizon. There are still kinks to be worked out but that's to be expected with a rookie. The future looks bright with him at the helm.
3/18/21: The Chargers sign OL Matt Feiler to a 3yr/$21M contract
The first signing of Free Agency went towards building up what has been a bad to terrible offensive line for Tom Telesco's tenure. Feiler was a utility man for the Steelers playing both guard and tackle. He was brought in to be the starter at left guard, and he has easily outplayed his contract already. He has been a force in the run game as well as an adequate pass protector, and forms one of the best left sides in football along with a couple other of this year's additions.
3/19/21: The Chargers sign C Corey Linsley to a 5yr/$62.5M contract
At the top of every good little Chargers fan's wishlist sat Corey Linsley, 2020's first team All-Pro center. And Telesco Claus delivered, making him the highest paid center in the NFL. Linsley has been every bit as good as advertised and his veteran presence and knowledge of the game has been a huge boost to Herbert and the offensive line as a whole.

Background & Why This Post?
Iβm a 46, male, living in the UK.
Iβve always felt different. Things other people do easily always felt hard and Iβve always struggled with social situations.
Socially especially, nothing ever comes naturally, but Iβve both taught myself to become better at the things Iβm bad at, but also, and I see this less discussed, used the things Iβm good at to excel too.
Over the years, Iβve taught myself to take control of my destiny a bit more.
I view a number of the traits I demonstrate as a "superpower" that I can occasionally use to my advantage.
What I hope I can do here is tell you about how the world feels to me and what I have found works for me.
My motivation is that I read many posts in this reddit and it reminds me of when I was younger & faced similar challenges, challenges, concerns, worries.
In some cases, I've found something that works for me
In some cases, I've had to learn to acknowledge I'm never going to be good at something - but I have at least found a way to make sure the impact of it is minimised.
I've also come to acknowledge and appreciate that everyone has their demons.
People classified as "Neuro Normal" (And I'll come to that in a bit) also all have their weaknesses too - so I generally don't agree with any labelling other than for the purpose of ensuring individuals get the help and support they need
So my goal here is to share
I canβt promise itβll all work for you, or even if any of it will - we are all different.
But if some of the things I say resonate with you and help even a little, then my mission is successful.
About Me
Like last year I share my extended list of 2021 ambient and related genres of music. The list is quite extensive, with 185 albums, but it covers lots of ground, ranging from new age to electroacoustic, or from modern classical to drone and dark ambient/more experimental; and from the more established artists to the more underground acts. But all have something in common, the ability to create one or various atmospheres/moods/feelings.
P.S. - every year I get messages to narrow it down to the top 10 or something. This list is not ranked and is vast in scope, meant for all the diggers out there. Happy digging, and Merry Christmas!

At times, theyβve been isolated β in gowns, respirators and masks β from suffering patients whom theyβve been powerless to help survive Covid-19.
βThe level of uncertainty and personal vulnerability and feeling like maybe you werenβt doing the right thing has really just been off the charts,β Back said. βThese are physicians and nurses who experienced so much death firsthand.β As health care professionals across the U.S. look for ways to deal with the mental and emotional anguish that has been wrought by the pandemic, Back is looking in a new, once-taboo, direction.
In a first-of-its kind clinical trial at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Backβs research team will treat 30 depressed medical professionals with a dose of synthetic psilocybin β a psychedelic drug β to see if the drug, along with psychotherapy, can reduce their mental anguish. It follows small clinical trials of psilocybin in people with cancer and major depressive disorder that suggested it could help reduce depression and anxiety in these groups. Other research suggested the drug could treat alcohol use disorder. That medical researchers are turning toward psilocybin to treat colleagues is representative of a growing curiosity and acceptance of the drug among those in the medical establishment.
βIf this was done 5 to 10 years ago, I donβt think you would get approval,β said Dr. Stephen Ross, the associate director of the New York University Langone Health Center for Psychedelic Medicine. The research also highlights concerns over burnout and depression among the workers the nation has leaned on for nearly two years. βThis is a serious crisis within medicine,β said Dr. Charles Grob, a professor of psychiatry at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. βWe donβt have a good handle on how to provide in-depth, existential support for the front-line health workers. Back has experienced the anguish of treating Covid-19 patients. Back practices palliative care, which means he tries to help patients improve their quality of life and reduce suffering as they face serious illness.
Wearing protective gear, keeping distance from patientsβ families and reducing bedside visits changed the nature of his work and that of colleagues. Then, as disruptions to surgery schedules a

Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
I wanted to do something a little different for this list. So these are the books I bought this year, but haven't read yet, based on the awesome recommendations from this sub. I love this community, but you all aren't easy on the ol' pocketbook.
What have you ordered this year, but haven't gotten around to yet?
On mobile, so hopefully the formatting isn't weird.
