A list of puns related to "Staunton, Virginia"
Hi all,
I'm planning a section hike NOBO from Rockfish Gap in Shenandoah to Harper's Ferry. I can get picked up in Harper's Ferry, and I'd love to leave my car at home and take public transit (from the DC area) to Rockfish Gap if possible. I found this bus https://virginiabreeze.org/routes/ that stops in Staunton, and it looks like there's an Amtrack from DC to Staunton too, although not every day. From there it's 15 miles to Rockfish Gap. Anyone done this before? Do you know of options for getting from Staunton to Rockfish Gap? Should I just hope to get a taxi or Uber? Should I consider different options for getting there entirely? This is the first time I'd be dealing with shuttles so I'm happy for any advice! Thanks!
We had a group of five but just lost one. So we are looking for one or two new players to join a weekly game of PF1e. Most of us have been meeting weekly for many years now and have tried many games, such as Dnd 3.5, Dnd 5e, PF2e, and PF1e. The day that we meet is flexible depending on the consent of the other players.
A new campaign is about to start. Everyone who wants to play is welcome, no matter if you are experienced or brand new to the game. You don't need to bring anything but enthusiasm for the game and a friendly attitude. We have a group of three players that rotate out the role of DM when a new adventure starts. We typically do home brew adventures vs. modules.
We are friendly and accepting of everyone. You can smoke outside during game breaks and drink alcohol freely during the game if you choose. We do ask players not to use their phone during the game unless it is game related; such as looking up information, texting the DM, or perhaps pulling up the odd funny video which may be related to the current game topic.

βIzzy, I donβt know about this place. It doesnβt really seem very touristy.β
Isabelle rolled her eyes and pursed her lips disapprovingly. βOkay no problem, lets just drive another eight hours to Charleston!β She sighed in a defeated gesture, although she knew that this sarcastic remark would solidify the couples stay for the night. Jake hated her sarcasm.
βWhatever,β he mumbled, βI guess itβs just for one night.β
As Jake guided their car down the old, narrow streets, he observed the local businesses and restaurants. Not much like Fort Lauderdale, where the coupleβs road trip had originated. He couldnβt help but shudder as an eerie feeling washed over him. All the buildings were old, the streets were old, the residentsβ¦even young, looked somehow old. Like aged souls inhabiting younger bodies.
He didnβt dare mention any of this to Izzy. She would just roll her eyes and make another sarcastic remark. That was the last thing he wanted at the end of a long day of driving.
βHereβs the hotel.β He pulled the car under the large covered porch of the Stonewall Jackson Hotel. A beautiful historic hotel, the price had still been considered cheap by the couple as they were used to south Florida prices.
βWow.β Isabelle surveyed the tall stately building with an approving glance. βThis is really nice. Arenβt you glad we decided on this? Only eighty bucks, and they serve free breakfast.β
The restaurant Isabelle chose for the coupleβs dinner was only a few minutes walk from their hotel, two streets over and on the edge of town. In fact, it was the last street before the valley side sloped steeply upwards into a jagged cliff face. The restaurant was set in the basement of an old flour mill originating from the towns inception-1747. Massive cold, dark boulders marked the entrance of the stairs leading down to the restaurant.
βSo cool! I love that everything here is original. Itβs almost like going back in time.β
Jake grimaced. He silently cursed the hotel concierge for suggesting it to his fiancΓ© but decided against mentioning anything to her. Just another aspect of this town that didnβt sit well with him. Something was different about this place. He brushed off the feeling and vowed to try to enjoy the night.
The inside of the restaurant was surprisingly busy. Stuffed animal heads and framed old flour mill bags crowded the walls, making the rows of tables seem even more cluttered. Glasses clinked, couples laughed, waitresses conversed while serving plat

For example: Democrats support legislation to reduce gun violence and Democrats are the majority party in Virginia, therefore Virginia Democrats want to ban guns. The first two statements are true, the third is false.
