Marble lace handkerchief, carved by Louis-Philippe Mouchy in 1781, for the posthumous statue of the Duke of Montausier, Charles de Sainte-Maure. The nobleman was one of the guardians of the Great Dauphin of France, Louis, son and heir of the Sun King, Louis XIV.

Rare English coin found after almost 400 years at early Maryland settlement. The coin, a silver shilling with a portrait of King Charles I, was created by the royal mint in the Tower of London back in England at around the time the fort was settled in 1634.

TIL King Henry VIII was such a big fan of codpieces (a type of flap or pouch protruding from a man's trousers) that there used to be a wooden statue of him at the Tower of London with a secret mechanism in the floor. When you stepped on the right spot, the royal codpiece would swing forth.

The Royal Exchange, London, England. Opened in 1571 by Queen Elizabeth I, destroyed in The Great Fire. Its roof was topped with statues of every king and queen to sit on the throne since William the Conqueror.

Operation London Bridge is the Operation that will undergo in the event of the Queen Elizabeth II's passing. After the Queens's passing, the National anthem of UK will be changed from " God save the Queen" to "God save the King" as Prince Charles will be the next king.
